The sales person needs to go through EVERYTHING THOROUGHLY. Informing customer about different hinges, especially the safety ones. I would also have liked a price for each item at the beginning, I felt a bit cheated when salesman came back with a different price for upstairs windows when he knew I didn't want downstairs doing.

There have been a few issues which I’d rather keep between myself and the contractor. Their customer recovery was very good, particularly by the owner, however it should never have happened in the first place and hence why I can’t recommend. Had this not occurred I would have recommended.

When I discussed my order with two representatives from the company, they reassured me that they would be able to complete the work in September, which did not happen. I had to re-arrange my working schedule. But after that, there were no time-management issues. I invited a builder to see whether the work has been completed to a high standard. He generally approved of the work, but said that it was not a very good practice to put nails in the window frames because this makes the frames potentially more vulnerable, but the job could be completed quicker in this way. Tidiness varied from day to day and from one worker to another, so after the work was completed, I washed carpets a couple of times, and cleaned gutters from glass, but overall, it was a good experience.

No mention during site survey that existing door alarm would not be suitable for new door. also top of door is not a flush fit with frame

ACE windows have installed new windows in my home over the past few years. The workmanship is excellent and the installers have all been friendly and polite. The office staff are pleasant and helpful. I have happily recommended ACE windows to my friends.

It took time to complete the job but satisfied end.

My only criticism would be that when finished installing the windows they should be cleaned. Therefore any marks would be noticed when installed rather than the customer noticing any flaws when the installer leaves.

The whole team at Ace Winows did a great job from the initial visit, to the ladies on the phone, to the final measuring and the fitters who completed the job. Well done to you all.

Always helpful. There as a flaw in the window sill which was replaced within days. No quibble just action. Really good firm.

On time, clean workers, no messing on 10 Doors fitted and all alterations requested done and ahead of time. I made a mistake on 4 split spindles they came and sorted it within 2hrs thank you so much.

Clean, tidy and professional job

On the day of installation, the work was cancelled due to "sickness". It may be pessimistic to assume this was due to the previous day being a bank holiday. It was also made very clear during the ordering process that a lock with only a thumb turn inside was essential since 24 hour access was required from outside due to the home owner being 89 and may need assistance should she fall. This was left off the job sheet and not installed initially.

Vent lids appear flimsy, otherwise great windows.

There were to incompetent workers needs health and safety training
kicking windows when fitting windows in no scafolding gabil brick work dropped very poor work

I was very dissapointed that the scaffolding extra cost was justifed by the supplier then only partially used but not refunded.

The original quote we were given was increased due to additional work being required which was not made clear at initial surveys.
However, the team completed the work in a courteous, professional and tidy manner.

Very professional and tidy in their approach to a big job. Had the whole house fitted with new windows and appreciated the speed with which the job was completed.

There were some differences between us and Ace; however, they did always attempt to resolve them, where feasible. I would recommend them; however, I would stress the importance of triple-checking that the product to be installed is exactly as required.
