While we are happy now with the completed window, this job was not without its problems.
We were not happy with the initial install and had to request additional work to be carried out. Unfortunately this didn’t go smoothly either and we were disappointed with the service overall.

There was a problem with the installation part of the beading was split, but after contacting Uniseal they came out and fixed it.

Site installers Scott and Phil were excellent, Craftsman at what they do.Surveyor Gary very knowledgeable and experienced and spot on with all of his measurements.Length of time to start the job was not great.asked for two 70mm strips 2.4m long to go around garage door frame installed by someone else, and was promptly charged �35, considering i have spent close to 40k in the last 12 months with them i thought this was very poor customer service.

the company were upfront by stating we would hve to wait longer than normal for the door and porch because of lack of supplies from the manufacturer.also, as our mobility is not as good as many people’s, they were able to ensure that the threshholds for the porch and front doors were as low as possible, reducing the risk of us tripping. We were veery pleased with their response to this query.

One of the window was not fitted correctly and had to recall the contractor. Big sliding windows had to be adjusted as did not close but still not perfect. But uniseal have been responding to our issues.

One of the window sills has been pointed in using mortar underneath, whilst the rest have had thick white silicone used which looks unsightly.One of the contractors asked if my ‘kettle had broken’ with regards to wanting a cup of coffee. This I thought was rude, and unprofessional.No written confirmation of when work would take place – despite being told there would be. Just a phonecall a few days before.Windows are well made and have made a significant difference.Contractors were very clean and tidy with their work. Hardly any debris left behind.Contractors also arrived at 8am prompt. Although they seemed to be rushing to finish at 1600 prompt.Company feedback forms are asked to be completed whilst the contractor stands over you. This made me feel uncomfortable

With COVID, the contractor kept his distance and was very pleasant.

Have already recommended Uniseal to 2 other people who have gone with them to provide new windows and conservatory roof.

Our fitter turned up on his own and worked non stop in the pouring rain to fit our window and doors. All work was carried out to a high standard and tidy.

Uniseal has completed our work to a very good standard on both occasions we have used them. The installers have been competent and efficient and cleared away the mess on completion.We would not hesitate to use them again in the future.
