Excellent company. Their service from beginning to end was exemplary.
The survey wasn’t great: lots of the measurements were wrong so we had lots of gaps which needed filling. Bay window sill / window was on a wrong angle. Gasket were all too short so we had huge gaps in each corner of all windows. They had to come back several times and most of the times left without having finished all jobs. It took several weeks and lots of calls/emails to get them back. The window itself are look great but it took over 6 months to get there. Very helpful was the sales person Adam, even after we had done his sale he continued to support.
We normally prefer to use local contractors, so for us there was an element of risk. However, we needn�t to have been concerned the communication and service detail was great and the product has received a number of admiring comments from other contractors and friends.
Their sales team and product is fantastic but scheduling installation was really difficult with multiple failed attempts to install and fitters turning up with essential product missing. This made the whole process stressful and unpleasant.
The fitters were amazing. Polite, tidy & all round great tradesmen.

Dysfunctional customer service. Product and workmanship were totally fine. But took too long to complete the job. Multiple delays in fabricating the pressing. We are happy with the end result but finding someone to take ownership was challenging and frustrating.
The installer shouldn’t have left me with a door that was difficult to open and needed a follow-up visit to fix.

I submitted extensive comments by email to the contractor throughout 2024 highlighting repeated product and customer service failings. The installation of a front door, eleven windows and a skylight – that were due to be completed in two days – required ten visits.

The contractor was very efficient and the workmen employed were prompt efficient and tidy.
The sales team, product and fitters were excellent. However, they have one member of their customer care team who should not be allowed anywhere near anyone’s business. She’ is particularly rude and presumptuous. She is so rude that other members of the team have to cover for her.

Excellent service up to fitting & full payment. 15 days after fitting a small deep 1cm straight scratch on inside pane noticed when cleaned the windows for the 1st time and reported. It was 4 weeks to send an engineer & when it was too deep polish out completed their paperwork to say it would be replaced. 10 days later head office called to say they wouldn’t because they couldn’t see it on the install photo & the installation report had tick boxes saying everything in good condition.I did inspect the windows in dull light and could see no faults against the garden background, having done the same today it still is not possible to see it in most places, can’t be seen in a recreated photo even though ringed with marker pen. They claim the fault reported too late for warranty!

Due to length of time it took to finish the trims over 2 months Arrange for new units and trims on same day but only units fitted as they didn�t combine the two jobs as they said they would. the blinds still don�t work properly after new units were installed awaiting glass company to sort out.
Poor timings with long delays. Poor communication between sales and other departments, we were promised a quick installation date by sales person but it was a lie to get us to sign up the contract. Later, the pressings were not delivered on the agreed installation date and the new date was two months later. at the end, they could not be fitted because the decking was installed by my builder and bifold were not willing to carry out the job if the decking was not removed. They acknowledged but were unwilling to give any compensation.
Told by salesman balance of payment was due after installation. Made a point of specifically confirming this point at time of order. Accountants department requested 95% of payment prior to install. When brought up this point with salesman he refuted the conversation and I was referred back to companies terms and conditions on their website. Happy with other staff and product although obviously feel salesperson was duplicitous.
Windows look good and we hope they will last well.Staff were all pleasant to deal withHowever, there were a number of issues with the installation including:scratches on two of the original windows3 visits to get all the windows fitted, including 1 refit. This extended the fit time to approx 3 monthsadditional charges for pressings were unexpected and could have been made clearerHaving said all that the damaged windows were dealt with professionally and I hope any future after care that is needed is dealt with in the same manner

Overall very pleased with the installation – the contractors were good and efficient and the sliding doors look great. We just noticed one thing after they had left – a plastic cover piece at the bottom of the projecting part of the frame outside was a bit loose / hanging down as it hadn’t dried in place properly. That was the reason for not giving a perfect score for the workmanship standards – but our builder glued it back in place for us, so it was fine.

Fitters are professional and customer focussed. There was an issue with the initial install and it took a little ‘negotiation’ to convince the office dwellers that the issue required rectification, but once the snagging team were back on site they did a good job.
This was the second installation we had from Express. first bi-folds and then these sliders. The installation team were polite and efficient – when they finally arrived. We were told to have the opening prepared for 7.30am or we could be fined £200. We were told to arrange parking for the vans or face a fine of £200, etc, etc… So, in the middle of October at 5.30am we opened up and prepared a 10m2 hole in the wall so it would be perfect for 7.30. No one arrived. 10.30 still no one! We then received a call to say the van had broken down and they wold install the window next weekend instead. After several calls we were told there was no management working on a Saturday and so they couldn’t hire a van and we would have to wait until next week. Appalling service and no apology.
We are very pleased with our bifolds however have some after sales issues which we are having trouble resolving – not with the engineer who comes out who is very good but with the customer support part of Express
The first fitters arrived late and did not manage to fit the doors as they said the opening was not right. They left the frames lying on the grass in the rain, having fitted them together very badly. They door step was also scratched badly. My builders then built up the patio around the base of the doors in order to change the opening, but this ended up being unnecessary. After many phonecalls a different fitter arrived some days later and did a much better job of fitting the product, without any need to have changed the opening. This led to more work from my builder who had to remove the extra concrete he had laid. I am please with the final product but wish that we had had better fitters the first time around. That would have saved an enormous amount of worry, stress and extra cost.
It was tempting to give 10 points but, as a matter of principle on the basis that it is always possible to be better, I gave 9 points!
I really could not recommend Express Bi-Folding doors more highly. From quote to installation they were brilliant, never hard selling or constantly contacting us and everything went extremely smoothly from start to finish.Thank you

Yes; the installers were open and honest about installation. The first time they arrived to install the doors was on the day of storm Gareth (12/03/2019) and advised me that installing the doors wouldn’t be a good idea as the sealant wouldn’t dry in such weather. I re-arranged another time for fitting (thankfully at no additional cost to me which was what I was worried about) and the same guys returned 48 hours later as they happened to be in the area at the time. Really felt fortunate. The doors are crafted beautifully and were well worth the wait.
The provision of finishing trim work was totally unsatisfactory due to long delays and no coordination with the various fitting teams. It took three aborted attempts to resolve the fitting.The products and eventual finish is good.
The doors are great quality but they have not been fitted correctly. We have had them out twice regarding the locking mechanism however this has just failed again.

Customers service is non-existent and Express Bi-Folding Doors seem to always assume that the customer (me) has to be imagining product faults. Very difficult to get them to follow through with remedial action and to take identified issues seriously. Would probably have received better service and held their attention for longer, if I had held back some of what was owed to them, until I was fully satisfied. Excessive condensation on all windows, first thing in the morning, continues to be an ongoing problem, which Express Bi-Folds seem uninterested in resolving. Wouldn’t use them again or recommend them.

We bought the sliding doors and all the windows for our house and insalled on September 2019. We are happy with all the doors and windows quality and installation so far.
1) Express should have been more up-front that there would be additional post-installation charges for pressings and trimmings. 2) Attention to detail was poor (e.g. it took four attempts to get a replacement cord). 3) Comms between delivery and installation teams was poor, resulting in trimmings being delivered to our bin store. 4) Some of the hardware was flimsy (e.g. both floor trims came away and I had to fix one with Gorilla Glue), and low-tack tape damaged the anthracite paint. 5) One pane had to be replaced because it had an inter-pane palm print from the factory. 6) Having said all that, Express coped well with a difficult sixth-floor installation, eventually rectified most matters and were cheery in their comms with us. We just feel they need to focus and sharpen up a bit. Thanks!

Only dropped a couple of points because they painted the finishing trims in gloss not Matt and the replacements took a long time to arrive but overall we were delighted by the product and service.

The windows were so badly fitted badly and not level that they required complete refit. After sales failed to respond to my concerns and I was forced to contact managing director for help. The fitter was bullying & aggressively argumentative. Failure of due care and attention to my new kitchen. Fitters left my property unattended and completely open while they went to purchase new batteries for their level. The finished floor level of the windows still not as agreed.
Overall very pleased with service, product and standard of communication. Would definitely recommend.

The company booked too many installations for the team to do in one visit. This resulted in the installation team finishing work at 10.00pm with a couple of bits outstanding and a return trip required. The installers worked really hard and the product was first class
We were unable to lock the door immediatley after the fitters left. Fortunately I was able to catch the installers before their van left and they came back in and adjusted the locking mechanism. This should have been checked more thoroughly. There was a difference of opnion between the fitters on the day versus the surveyor’s view from weeks earlier around where the door could be located and what was needed in terms of a fixing at the top. It worked out ok on the day but caused some confusion. Capping plugs for vertical members were not provided and were subsequently sent via post. A piece of track infill was ill fitting and was removed, cut and re-sprayed on site. So the install wasn’t seemless.
Didn’t do anything about blinds not working properly . Had to do this ourselves . After sales service Poor!
My only disappointment was the installers had to return the next day to finish and agreed with my builder to dry pack the understand of the base frame without my consent which would have incurred extra costs to me.
Product very good but minor teething problems become really annoying when time delays to sort a problem become a factor. Original installation not complete due to one of the solar blind controls not sticking to glazed panel and swarf left in the running tracks for us to clean. Took numerous weeks to come and fit the solar control, they failed to turn up when arranged and took a while to rearrange another date. Now it’s fallen off again and we have to wait to January to fix. In a morning from the blinds been open at night they can be closed in a morning. So pre-sales is very slick but after sales service (bearing in mind you pay nearly all upfront) is not any where near the same standard. New business seems to take priority.
My experience of after-sales/installation service was poor and is still unresolved as I write – some 2 months later – though to be absolutely fair, I haven’t followed up initial issue yet.
We have outstanding issues which will not be resolved until January 2020. We have 2 possibly 3 outstanding defects to clear.
Showroom and sales team very good. Install date was kept to but the installers didn’t arrive until 7pm and worked to 10pm in the dark. They had too many jobs booked in for the day and had my wife and I not had to work the next day we would have postponed. The installers were very good though but had to use noisy power tools after 9pm. After sales; I’ve had an issue with the laminate on the threshold peeling and the gasket has distorted – the best time available was 17th December (booked in November) to return to assess and potentially resolve the issue. The hope is water hasn’t entered beneath the now distorted gasket.
Dispute raised due to incorrect finished floor level.
Express Bi-Fold have a very professional set up. Despite the unusual number of installation issues, we are happy with the product and with the service provided by the company.
The showroom is wonderful. The product knowledge let the order down. The reccommended saleperson lacked the courtesy to respond to contact email. The follow up time for correcting a quote was over a month. The surveyor acknowledged he had problems with every order from the salesperson. Fitting did not go well. Wrong glass delivered, took 2 months to correct.
Only left a 9 re workmanship standards as the door latch needs adjusting. Appointment offer has been made to fix this minor adjustment – otherwise good job.

Cornerstone are a very good contractor for many reasons, firstly their standard of work is extremely high but their approach to helping and sorting out customer issues is first class. I would highly recommend Cornerstone for any building works.
Good service from the sales team, although there was a mix up with the colour (additional cost which was removed), the site visit and the install team were excellent working on until the job was complete (in the dark). A few bits needed to be completed due to not being provided to the install team a technician came out however did not do a very good job and was recalled by his manager – the original install team then returned to complete the works to a very high standard – very happy.

there was a bit of uncertainty in the beginning as the guy in the showroom who took all our details seemed to disappear and we had to go over everything again with someone by email bit by bit but they were very professional and did keep us informed every step of the way. They were very gracious when we weren’t ready for the doors and kept hold of them for a few weeks as the weather put us behind.The doors and windows and the installation all went lovely and we really love them

Happy overall with the product and service, there were maintenance issues which were handled quickly and efficiently for me.
The purchasing process was quite complex with lots of contacts from different individuals by different methods, much very technical detail and many terms and conditions in the contracts.
First fit was of appalling standard – products got damaged in numerous places. Contractor didn’t clean up at the end. Contractor didn’t provide demonstrations and explanations on fitted products at the end.Second fitting team did an excellent job in replacing and repairing all damaged parts bar one small scuff mark, which couldn’t be prepared. Our recommendation would only apply to range of products offered and supply of products to site. Although customer service was excellent from admin point of view, it did take a lot of time, effort, complaining, and nerves to get the company to acknowledge the need for proper remedial work of all issues raised. This company needs to reassess their attention to the importance of the fitting work – this is the most important part of the offering!
Very poor workmanship which meant my builder had to undertake further work which cost me nearly £1000.I complained to the contractor and my complaint was dismissed. I am not happy!
Fantastic Service and products
The quality of the products Express have provided is excellent.We did have a few issues with a couple of windows that had to be re-manufactured because the trickle vents clashed with the plaster soffit, but credit to Express – they remade them and refit them without fuss, and to our complete satisfaction. There were also a few more minor issues, which were equally satisfactorily resolved.Our lasting impression is that Express are an extremely professional company, provided truly excellent set of products at a good price point – not the cheapest but ‘you get what you pay for’ in this world! We would definitely use them again.

this job was not finished at the time – seals, replacement of scratched glass etc & i was never contacted- it was just forgotten by you until i chased it up.the site was also not cleaned & curtains not protected- although you did pay for the dry cleaning which was appreciated.
Survey needs to be crossed checked to ensure it is right as the height of my Bifold doors and French doors was incorrect and the error could have been found on a cross check. The error resulted in expanded foam filler being required at head and a minor trip hazard at threshold. The latter being due to insufficient depth between bottom course of brickwork and top of threshold
A very polite team of two fitters, who worked very hard to ensure that everything was perfect. However, as with all new fitments there were a couple of niggles that have been dealt with. Overall, I would recommend this company to anyone interested in bifold doors. All of our neighbours have been to see the finished product and have been very impressed.
There were two errors with the sizing of the original product, which caused a lengthy delay – however the team dealt with it well throughout and were helpful.

One window (dining room) required two glass changes due to unacceptable markings on the glass.The sliding door static section – after two attempts to turn the glass sheet because of unacceptable marks – it eventually had to fully replaced; this was after a number of visits by various Express personnel to assess the faults and eventually agree to a replacement – this process took six months of constant visits before finally being solved to a satisfactory condition.
The companies pre-sales team and showroom were/ is excellent. The installation left a lot to be desired and had to have the company back on four separate occasions up to today’s date (will soon be five) due to product defects and poor workmanship. Aftersales team do not seem interested apart from Eleanor who I’m dealing with on the latest defect.Certainly would definitely not recommend.
Clarity of accounts and invoicing was poor. Sales and fitting very good.
Product good but service is very fragmented with engineers , sales, surveyor, fitters, customer service etc. Apart from installation the follow up is all done on line. NO overall magament so issues such as delays caused by parts being poorly produced and ongoing requests for payment without asking if everything is Ok and also mist threats that guarantees would not be issues if final payment not made ( before completing a reasonable period of use / ownership . ) A good product spoilt by these aspects.
Did not complete just b and had to repeatedly follow up to get them to full complete cement dry packing.
I do not like the fact that I am being forced to complete a survey about an installation that. took place 8-9 weeks ago in order to obtain my certification documents. Surveys should always be voluntary!
We�re quite tricky to deal with, they changed the design from what I requested (full width bifold) to what they term as French Doors which meant that one of the doors could not be held open so we now have a bank of 3 that concertina and a forth door that just swings loose so can�t be used if there is a breath of wind. I asked they to do something about it, provide some sort of latching mechanism but they won�t. Quite disappointed.
They installed the wrong colour items for us. We had always said that we wanted the items to be grey (and they confirm that we asked for grey) but their surveyor wrote the colour down wrong on their form. So, we go white instead, which look ridiculous for the rest of the house. When we informed them, the manager said �what do you expect me to do about it?� And �we aren�t going to do anything about it�. Their mistake, but they don’t plan on taking any corrective action. Totally unacceptable. To be clear, all paperwork said grey apart from the surveyors report, which said white but it also had
Express need to quality control their immediate post installation work more carefully. Having said this the customer service has been good to resolve issues, but fundamentally the product was not as good as we thought we were buying. Leaving filling foam on two of our brand new radiators which cannot be removed showed lack of care to protect immediate working area and could have been easily prevented.
Had problems with first fit but second fit was much better
Surprised that some basic brickwork could not be done by firm and that we had to arrange a builder to be available on the day. Poor service.

We had quite a few issues with the 2m high plus door and the sealing of it when shut in the frame as it was not installed straight. However, 9 months on they were still visiting and hopefully all will be good this winter… after plenty of messing around and numerous visits of which I have lost count. Anyway I just think that if a bit more time was spent installing we would not have had this issue. We are pleased with the windows themselves, however, the installers left quite a mess when they finished and in my opinion, didn’t finish off the fittings around one door properly.Also, we were chased for 3 months for an outstanding payment that we had already made. We received three letters, the last of which threatened additional (interest) costs and legal action. This is not acceptable when we had made payment in full.

I’m hoping this certificate is for a job which was actually completed in 2018. Express bifolds never sent a Certass certificate at the time. It has taken many calls/emails to customer services to finally get this certificate.

The door mechanisms are not perfect. One door was faulty immediately after installing and was fixed on the day. The second door has some issues that will need to be looked at only a few weeks after installation
The workmen fitting the 2 Bi- fold doors and the Horizon window were very good . The only issue we had was that the number of pressings required were not identified correctly when the original and site survey measuring was carried out . This resulted in several additional visits to fit them after the windows were fitted . We had to be at home for this to be carried out . However now they are all fitted the end product is very good , does what we wanted and also look aesthetically pleasing with the pressings now fixed.

A discount equalling less than 0.5% for a job that took 12 months to complete over several visits. A number of sily mistakes – the wrong glass on a number of windows.Poor installation of blind pulleys.Faulty door – needing 3 visits.Installers driven by time contraints and not quality.We have had to tell a number of people who like the look of the windows not to use this company.Overall, not good enough for the �50k plus they took off us.
The work was done to a good standard but we did have some minor issues with some slight damage to the carpet (given the weather on the day). The after sales care from Express has been poor and a little rude at times though which is disappointing.

The installation date had to be put back due to covid.A second visit was necessary to finish off the installation as a few things were left outstanding.
Generally good, but they canceled the installation of our doors on the day which was very disappointing. It then took three visits to get the doors installed and completed properly.
Excellent office performance. Product well build and timely. Instal team were the weak point and where improvemernt can be acheived. Did not tidy up well after the job. I had to point out areas not sealed and with protective strips missing. Windows did not operate and required a subsequent remedial visit.
Very professional company highly recommend their services.

Sales and production process went smoothing but unfortunately from the point of installation onwards the customer care has been appalling – it seems once they have your money and the job is done they don’t care.
We are delighted with our purchase from Express Bi-folding Doors and felt valued at every stage of our customer experience. First and foremost, by the Redhill showroom, who responded to our numerous enquiries both promptly and fully. Following completion of the site survey we felt reassured that we had made the right decision. An entirely separate team delivered the carefully packaged components of our new installation from the Leeds depot and at the time stated for the fitters assemble and install with such precision, care and attention to detail, following which they inducted us on the configuration of our new doors, the quality and technology of which is fully in line with expectations.
They said we needed building work doing below ground and charged us �600 extra,but they did no building work on the day of the installation yet still charged,when we complained they said that is what we agreed.
Encountered quite a few issues regaring scratched windows and frames and several visits had to be made. Even replacement frames had scratches.Another “incident” encountered with a cracked rooftile but no blame accepted. Had to agree to disagree in the end.
Poor attitude from installers. Seemed more interested in finding a way of walking away from the job rather than getting on with it.
Great work and even better after sale service
This has been my third installation with Express Bifolds. The first two went well, but this one has had a lot of problems. It took three goes to get the right products to my house for installation, and there are still some minor problems with it which haven’t yet been fixed.
We have used this contractor previously. Very dependable, great products and excellent after sales service.
Our contractor has endeavoured to fulfil customer expectations and returned to put right anything that was felt to be not quite right or faulty. They have been very helpful and friendly throughout. The result has given an excellent product and we would recommend them to any interested potential customer.

Just fabulous. Professional service. Excellent fitters and the finished product amazing. Very happy. In the end you get what you pay for. Buy cheap. But twice. Buy quality and it will last. Express BFDs are top quality.

I would not recommend them purely because they do not offer a complete service, removal, preparation of openings and installation. If I had to order again I would have sourced someone who offered the full service as the toing and froing between them, the surveyor and the builders was extremely stressful.
The work and installation were first class and I am pleased with the outcome.Unfortunately the installer did not clean the glass before leaving and i have tried to do this to no avail.I contacted the installer and they agreed to come and attend to this.
Very happy with the installation
There were issues with the survey and measurement of the existing opening which meant that the doors could not be fitted on the day as planned. The operatives had to return a week later to fit them leaving a large opening in the rear of the house that had to be temporarily boarded up.When installed, the door frames and glass were left dirty and unclean inside and out.
A bit disappointed that the original installation date was not met, nevertheless all turned out very satisfactory a week later. Overall I’m very happy with the service and quality installation provided and I think the quality of the door itself is premium class. I would definitely recommend both product and contractor to anyone.
The product is the best I could find and the fitting was carried out very professionally.

Very professional and explained clearly what he was doing
Issue flagged up to Express Bi Folds regarding the damp proof course. This was not correctly done on the day of installation and a minor repair was subsequently carried out by our builder to mitigate what was a very small chance of the damp course being breached. Otherwise they were a first class contractor.
