From start to finish Kestrel were very professional. Engineers who came to fit the door went above and beyond to install the door, due to poor workmanship of the installer we had previously to fit our door 5 years ago. Workmanship and product excellent

The contractor/supplier (Kestrel Home Improvements) has been of a good standard, the product manufacture has encountered some snags which Kestrel are helping us to resolve with their own fitters. I am communicating directly with Solidoor to feedback on the quality of their product.

Very efficient from booking to completion. The fitters were pleasant and chatty. They cleaned up afterwards and even vacuumed the hall.

Installation delayed by nearly a year due to material supply issues due to COVID-19. Kestrel kept me informed of issues and asked if I wanted to wait or change material.Minor hiccups with glass and locks, however these were swiftly fixed.

I really wanted to say No I wouldn’t recommend this contractor – but that would be harsh, they were let down by the quality of the materials, but then again they are knowingly supplying them!

Kestrel were brilliant from start to finish. The original visit from Kes for a quote was not pushy and everything was fully explained. Mark kept us up to date with the progress of the order. The installation team arrived at the time and date arranged, were very efficient and pleasant. They worked well and finished the job in a timely manner. They kept everything clean and tidy, removing all of the old window and door, then clearing up after the installation of the new ones.

Our order came in last October, and the contractor assured us that it had all been checked and the install would proceed with no issues. Several installation appointments were made and then cancelled due to COVID infections/self isolation, etc. However, when we finally scheduled an installation appointment that was able to be kept at the end of February, it was immediately apparent that there were issues with the glazing units. We were made to feel like this was our fault, as we were being picky, when actually the faults were very obvious. The glazing problems were eventually rectified. The Company demanded payment immediately after work was finished, and we were not given time to fully inspect work.

The service was excellent from start to finish – clear and easy quote with support to get the right product. The fitters were quick, friendly and very tidy, they left the house tidier than when they arrived! The finished windows and doors are perfect, even better than we hoped. The whole team at Kestrel were a pleasure to deal with and we will use them again in the future, highly recommended.
