The installation of these windows was Phase 3 of replacements to this property. All 3 stages, over 10 years, have gone without a hitch, the windows are excellent and the workmanship of the highest quality.

The completion of this installation was delayed, initially because one unit had standard double glazing rather than the acoustic glass which had been ordered. Then the glass of the replacement unit was twice found to be scratched.
Having said that, the fitters pointed out the faults on each occasion and CWS provided replacements without hesitation.

I was fully satisfied with the workmanship and fitting of the windows. The staff who undertook the fitting were excellent; my issues relate to the repeated delays to the start of the work, the extended timeframe for completion of the work, and the failure to communicate accurately

The fitter did a good job considering he was on his own.
As some of the windows were quite large, maybe these should have been a two-man job.

I am very happy with the products and services provided by CWS. They have installed windows and doors at two properties for me now and I have been very happy on both occasions.

I waited several months after placing my order and paying my deposit and didn't hear anything from the contractor so ended up ringing them to enquire about the progress of my door. I then had to phone back again to chase up what was going on. Following this, I did get a provisional date for installation and later this was confirmed. The door installation process on the day was very good, however I realised soon afterwards that the door hadn't been made to the correct specification. The contractor sorted this out without any further issues , communication was good, and the door was rectified. Because of the issues I initially had I probably wouldn't recommend the contractor, however nor would I recommend against them as, in the end, I did get a door that I'm very pleased with.

Time between placing order and installation seemed excessive. Installers did not always come when expected. Finished windows are fine so would recommend the product but the whole process seemed very prolonged.

We have had problems with the Aluminium sliding doors in that when fitted they were not wind and water tight. It has taken 4 separate visits from engineers to solve the problems (hopefully!!). When we had the storms earlier in the year the flooring inside the doorway got saturated with rainwater. There were also draughts from the side of the doors due to no seals been fitted (or not fitted correctly)

The job was handled beautifully from order to completion. We are very pleased with the results and have received a number of compliments on the looks and quality.

Excellent fitting.....seemless.....

From start to finish CWS have provided an excellent service, their installers were timeous, tidy and also very happy to work for CWS who they said treated staff well , proven by the long length of service of installers.
I would therefore recommend CWS unreservedly.

Work looks fine. If there are any things that need tweaking after installation, this company always come back out and sort it even if they have been paid and that makes good customer care and service.

I am very pleased with the windows installed in the house. They look fantastic and keep all the drafts out. My house is much warmer as a result. The fitters arrived on time and completed the job efficiently.

I gave a lower score on customer service, not because of the long delay (put deposit down in May, originally planned for October installation) as the whole country was struggling with supply issues; but because I had to keep chasing for information. I would have preferred it if the company had let me know the current status of the job even if nothing had changed so I felt like I knew what was happening. Julia was lovely and I think if the company had a policy of regular communication it would help everyone concerned. I've now got some fantastic windows so it was worth waiting for!

Customer service not good delays and lack of communication

We have mixed feelings about our window contractor, the customer service from their reception staff was great. The contractors who actually did the installation we could not fault and so far so good with regards to the windows themselves also good. The efficiency with which our replacement items were dealt with and installed was also good. Unfortunately what let them down was the 'fobbing off' in the fact that we had to keep chasing for updates everytime installation was delayed for what felt like excuse after excuse, we appreciated the circumstances that any contractors have been in with COVID and materials but being patient and understanding felt more like we were being taken advantage off.

All the workmen involved with the installation of the new window and repairs to other units were extremely helpful and considerate. Thank you.

Always a good job

I'm very pleased with the work that was carried out.

Glass order was wrong, so required replacing. Very poor customer service to try & rectify the situation. One of the panels is scuffed, which the fitters noticed. Unfortunately we still have a panel to replace.
