Friendly and efficient, from the start.

Window quality very high, company very transparent about costs and processes, very responsive to any snags once windows fitted. Very happy with the final product.

The end quality of the product has raised these scores. We used Nationwide previously and the product quality is what encouraged us to return. When the fitters commenced work the situation became poor from that point on. The fitters stated our old windows (also installed by Nationwide )were fitted incorrectly. Whilst we do not think that caused any issues whilst they were installed it lowers confidence when the companies own work is criticised. From there on in we had a whole list of problems- Poor fitters, damaged goods, incorrect windows supplied and fitted and without going into a whole catalogue of problems we ended up with 60 - 70% of the windows had an issue. The re-negotiated price also assisted in giving higher scores. Very disappointing.

There were some production problems with some glass units, but the company rectified these until we were. Satisfied. They did this without quibble and were very apologetic that there had been any problem everyone we dealt with was very helpful.

Fitters arrived on time to fit windows. And left the house and back yard clean and tidy.

Fantastic contractor, they have replaced all our windows. Reliable, professional, friendly. Fully recommended.
The only aspect we are worried about is the sealant used. It is emitting a very strong chemical smell that causes headaches and wooziness after a few hours. Despite being assured it would fade, it is still as strong 3 weeks after installation. We have to open all the windows and doors to dissipate the smell. (Okay when it's warm, but not when the weather is cold.) We've never had this experience with other windows. I'm advised that Nationwide has been in touch with the manufacturer, but they are not concerned, saying it happens sometimes and will fade eventually. However, we are concerned about the smell and the effect on health. The situation is ongoing.

We are very satisfied with the quality of the door, the security features and the installation process.

Worst company we've ever had the misfortune of dealing with.
Took over 12 months to complete the job, with numerous call backs - too many to remember. Amongst the issues were contractor bringing the wrong glass, damaging the glass so it had to be refitted.
The booking of call backs was relaxed to say the least, with weeks between calls.

I found the initial process of choosing and ordering very easy, I felt valued as a customer and I was kept informed of installation dates etc. There was a great choice of options and I was advised of cost savings I could make. The fitting took a bit longer than estimated but that was due to the nature of my property’s construction, gold star for the guys who powered through to get the job done. Ultimately I adore my new door and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them. The after service was brilliant.

Two lovely fitting guys who both worked very hard, were very friendly & a joy to have working in my home.

Water ingress on vertical joints. Problems with internal pelmet framework supplied by the roofing company, not fit for purpose. Windows clashed with pelmet when trying to open. New frame made & replasterred. Water ingress dripping from lighting holes in pelmet. Dehumidifier ran for 6 weeks, 49 litres of water withdrawn. Holes cut in pelmet to dry & seal against condensation.
In short, a 5 week build over 7 weeks duration became 5 months of stress particularly in try to contact customer services.

NWD did a great job at another property. Based on this I asked them to install a conservatory. This time it did not go so well. My biggest issue was not with the installers, the materials or even some of the mistakes on the design but that having taken my deposit for the work there was no communication to confirm the installation date. Indeed when chased the sales representative wiped his hands of dealing with it saying I should contact his colleague. This may be the case but my relationship is with the person who sold me the product and not his colleague. It later transpired his colleague had diarised the installation date 3 months after promised at the point of sale. This is why I would not recommend the company. Communication and feeling valued as a customer is everything.

Nothing appeared to be too much trouble. The attention to detail shown by the fitters has been first class.

Really happy with the windows and the fitting contractor made a great job

After some initial delays relating to the project (we'd wanted the windows to be fitted in the summer/autumn), we are very happy with the final product and the fitters especially were extremely good, and were very tidy.

The workmanship seemed poor and rushed. We did not receive any correspondence after the work had been completed regarding certification.

The windows were fitted to the clients specification and to an high standard.
