We’ve used York Windows many times and they are always professional, friendly and helpful. Their windows and doors are first class quality. Installation is always carefully carried out so nothing is damaged. Would always recommend them and have done so in the past.

I was disappointed with the trickle
vent finish and overall quality of the door, the door replaced was of a higher standard of material and overall construction

The workman damaged our brand new kitchen, tried to replace it with substandard materials

Workmen also damaged two walls and a ceiling

The plaster left bare brick on show, as this was being corrected they burst a central heating pipe, this was quickly repaired…. The plaster return to complete the job

Eventually, the damage was corrected at no cost to ourselves

There were issues with the quality of some of the windows from the supplier Shepley, joints were not properly sealed, the beading took many visits from them to fix. Shepley replaced two windows, the ones they replaced were even worse than the ones they took out. York windows had these replaced.

Overall, the time scale for over 4 and half week was ridiculous as the workman was doing other jobs in between mine and would miss days. The about of scratches, dints and scuffs on the windows i found was very disheartening. We had to leeks due to a window not being sealed right in the first instance. Theres a window and French doors that were in my opinion to short in size as you could get your hand through the gap at the top and now have two thick strips to hide it. The window they took out fitted perfectly. They offered to put headers at the top of them but i thought fitted windows ment just that 'fitted windows'.
