We had new double glazed windows installed by Thermaglaze and can thoroughly recommend this company. The sales advisor who came to assess the work was professional, polite and knowledgeable about all aspects of the job. A date was set for installation some three months ahead and we were kept well informed throughout. Any queries we had were answered promptly and considerately. On the day arranged, three installers arrived on time and carried out the work in a highly professional manner. Again they were polite and friendly …and importantly efficient in completing the work in a timely way. They cleared up tidily and took away the old windows. The new windows are of good quality and the installation immaculate. The price was very reasonable. The house is warmer and quieter.

The installer was very good in showing and explaining to us and showing us the reason why our previous window was unsatisfactory due to poorly fitting and ‘slipped’ glass within the frame. This was fitted by another company, not his.

Jason, the fitter, was very meticulous in making sure both doors were fitted correctly and that they opened and shut precisely. He also made sure we knew how operate the locking mechanism’s correctly. He was very friendly and left everything clean and tidy, no bits left behind.

All the employees I dealt with at this co. were excellent, including non-pushy yet very informative, helpful, reliable sales person Dom, to office staff I spoke to including Jackie and Laura who answer phones without endless time-wasting robots to navigate and cover for each other to ensure there is always someone quickly onhand to deal with customer queries without being given the runaround, to the excellent thorough surveyors, polite efficient installation team, and excellent prompt follow up service by Mark in the servicing team who was excellent, understood and immediately resolved a couple of minor post-installation problems. This company have a great team of staff and do exactly what should be expected of a fair competent reliable company – no pointless costly frills, no false promises of non-existent or dodgy windows govt discounts like many cos falsely claim, just an honest, properly considered competetive price for a well-made product, genuinely friendly, knowledgeable staff without the over-“friendly” false pushiness of less competent staff employed by many similar cos., ability to answer all questions truthfully, and all team genuinely good at what they do. I very rarely recommend a company (especially this type of co.) with no reservations but I do recommend this company 100%.

I recently had new windows and a door installed by Thermaglaze and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. From the initial quotation to the final installation, the entire process was incredibly smooth and straightforward. The team provided excellent service throughout, with clear communication and a professional approach.

There was never any pressure at any stage, which made the whole experience stress-free. On the day of the installation, the work was carried out efficiently and with great care. The installers were tidy, leaving no mess behind, and the finish was immaculate. Very pleased indeed!

Only negative is that the installer put up a Thermoglaze sign (no issues there) but should have asked where as hammered it through a weed liner below stones so that is now damaged.

There was an issue with installation regarding the window surrounds agreed with surveyor; one of the locks on the sash windows and the attitude of one of the contractors involved on the day of installation e.g not using dust sheets over son’s bedroom PC (£3,000 PC) and aggressive/ rude when politely asked to address this. The surveyor came to reassess work done, agreed it was not as it should have been, apologised for contractors attitude and a second team were sent to rectify the works. Although the initial experience was not good, Thermaglaze made efforts to rectify and address all issues promptly and the team that came to do rectification works went out of their way to complete work to the highest standard. I have since therefore commissioned further work from Thermaglaze on the basis it would not involve contractors that I complained about.

Only thing to comment is that I was expecting a trickle vent on the doors (just like the windows) additionally I opted for chrome handles and in retrospect would of liked the hinges to be chrome as well given how large they are.

We were very pleased with the care and attention to detail taken by the company, surveyor and the installer. The finished door looks excellent and it’s quality has received many positive comments.

They have done a great job. A few small teething issues they will sort in the new year when they reopen, but being the original door space brickwork was so poor in the first place from Persimmons, the fitter had fun fitting the frame!
Once these issues are sorted (small but necessary), we’ll be completely happy customers! Thermaglaze have been great, and if we decide on replacing our shockingly cheap windows, we will likely use them!

We have used Thermaglaze to fit other windows at this property, and their excellent service and workmanship has been consistent throughout.

They were efficient, pleasant and got on with the job. The installation went exactly as it should have done.

Only (fairly minor) issue was that the installation left some loose tiles with cracked grout in my bathroom, which I noticed only after the installer had left, and which I’ll have to fix. Otherwise all fine.

A few issues with the games room window at the last minute (the reason why we were doing the project) and with the scaffolders but other than that the project was completed on time to a high standard.

Initial installation was unacceptable but subsequent remedial actions were excellent and rebuilt confidence in the supplier who I would definitely use again.

In the end a great finish. It was unfortunate the supplier provided the wrong size windows the first time around, and even more unfortunate these weren’t checked prior to taking the old windows out! However the team did a fantastic job installing the wrong size windows temporarily (with a significant amount of boarding accompanying to a very high standard of finish), before coming back and installing with the correct size a few weeks later.

The installation was done in two phases. The first phase was done 10 out of 10. However, the second phase was not up to the standard of the company who put things right. I am very pleased with the actual windows and have been admired by neighbours. The company have been very dedicated from start to finish.

I had a problem with the wall for the window and door, they were very good bearing with me while I had it fixed. This put there manufacturing of the product out because I had a date for fixing with another door on the same day. Thermaglaze were very good about the delay it caused them.

On initial installation of the front door the knocker/spyhole had not been supplied. The door was also draughty which was quite disappointing.When an engineer returned a few weeks later to fit the knocker/spyhole, he was able to address the main issues surrounding the draughty door and there has been a considerable improvement.On ordering two extra keys there seemed to be an admin/registration issue and an email asking me to authorise the order never actually arrived. After a delay the keys were then cut anyway and Clear Glaze were surprised as they had not met this sort of query before

A very focused pair of fixers arrived in minus temperatures and carried out the work in a thorough manner. The sliding doors concerned are working very well and are offering much improved protection about heat loss. Measuring up for the work and briefings to us on options available was suitable informative and helpful. It was excellent that we could view the product features and operation at their sales centre in Oldfield Park Bath prior to placing an order.

After some initial problems we were satisfied with the product and the installation.

The installation itself was excellent, and we are very pleased with the final results. The slightly lower score for customer service is because of the considerable delay between first placing the order and installation, which in the end meant that we had to switch to a different product type and pay a higher cost than originally planned.

We did have some issues such as having to wait a year after ordering for the windows to be fitted but I know this was supplier issues. I would have appreciated more communication about it though, I had to chase for any update. Also, a pane of glass was broken on fitting which resulted in several more days awaiting completion. Overall though am very happy with the standard of work and with the finally fitted windows.

I only scored 7 – due to window handle on the wrong side however this I feel was a communication error as all drawings were correct. Customer service 8 was purely because all communication went to my partner and not me directly. But lovely quick response to error of handle. I would definitely recommend Thermaglaze to friends and family.

Contractor did not keep in touch very often on progress of the order. The product has not yet been subjected to heavy rain so I cannot assess its waterproofing.

We had some problems with the installation of a patio door, however they did respond and put the matter right.The manufacture of one of the windows and the patio door was careless and not satisfactory, however these problems were rectified.Disappointed that we are still experiencing condensation on the bedroom windows.The workmen on the whole were very friendly and installed the windows and doors quickly and efficiently, baring the problems mentioned above.
