We have had to call them out numerous times to rectify issues which are still ongoing but they don't come back to us if we don't keep chasing them.

Very neat and tidy work done

Small issue of leaking following fitting was addressed very promptly on 2 occasions and is now sorted.

After sales/service (administration side of business) needs improving. Lack of contact despite numerous requests for responses. i.e. receipt of payment.

We had 4 jobs completed by this company.
2 jobs were carried out to high standard( garage back door/ window replacement/cladding)
The other 2 jobs (replacement/ installation of French doors/ resealing a double glazed window )were poorly executed resulting in 2 return visits to rectify the issues.
However we still had to pay another company to redo the front window seal despite paying
Wood & Haynes.

Excellent workmanship

We are very pleased with the products and had a few teething issues which they fixed, but they were very difficult to get hold of. Don’t respond to anything, didn’t confirm any appointments, just turned up when it suited them. The men who fitted the windows were great, their office planning and communication is poor.

Very high standard of workmanship, but very slow in execution. Replacing 6 windows in a terraced house took 5 days! The quote was 2-3 days.

so glad I went with a local contractor on the first day when the old concrete window ledge 's were removed we had 6 people here, then two people here carefully constructing our two bow windows, and went above and beyond to get an impressive finish never got the impression that they were under pressure to get it finished and move on.

Brilliant job and friendly staff

This contractor does exactly what they say they are going to do for the price initially quoted. An excellent service backed up by a quick response to any problems that may occur during the guarantee period. I have now used them twice to install double glazing.

The fitter went above and beyond to get the installation done as quickly as possible as darkness fell. He worked well over office hours as he tried to complete both door fittings in the day. Would recommend to everyone.

The fitter worked really hard and was polite and friendly.

A few issues but Mick resolved quickly and satisfactory. Also an issue arose after we had paid ,which Mick also resolved . The team Steve and Ellis were very polite helpful and professional . we would highly recommend Wood and Hayes.

Damp proof was removed from wall before fitting bi folds. Now I have no damp protection across a span of 3500m. I was told this is normal that this is removed to prevent draughts. Hard to believe this if the damp proof is cemented down and the weight of the bi folds bearing down on wall.

We have used Wood & Haynes on a number of occasions, and always have excellent service from them.

The craftsmanship was excellent, and the chap who fitted it was also excellent.

Job is now complete, just awaiting for the door to be altered and the glass sorted as marked .

Bifolds are nice. Made a huge difference to the back of the house. A long wait but worth it. Good brick work. All mess was tidied after and rubbish collected. Team are friendly and polite.
