Installation was generally good. This installer did not have the attention to detail previous team had. This one left a lot of black handprints on surfaces (interior walls). Windows weren't cleaned well. Kitchen window has sticky residue and bathroom has pen marks saying 'SI 70' that are proving awkward to clean.

I still believe that, regardless of what the contractor says, that it is not acceptable to install brand new damaged and defective products and that the resolution is to repair these brand new products.

Absolutely brilliant from start to finish. All our expectations have been surpassed and then some. Congrats to all at Global you have set the standard others can only aspire to.

Have previously used Global Windows. Their work is always professional, the employees are friendly and efficient. Very pleased with the work carried out to replace the utility side door and French doors.

I had a few issues with maufacturing faults in the glass and beading. All was rectified .

I'd discussed when they came to do the survey installing a new door bell same site as old one. The man said this would be fine, when the fitters came they said they wouldn't do it as hadn't been put on the job sheet. This was disappointing and I would have been stuck without one, but a family member agreed to fit it for me at a later time.
The original fitted door handle was damaged. notified same day as had already left house. this was replaced a week later with another damaged one and then ordered another, third time satisfactory. The customer service man Dave communicated well and every appointment staff arrived promptly, were polite and tidy. Would definitely recommend as although some issues they sorted out the problems with the handle and some scratches with no fuss.

On both days of fitting the window and door in my conservatory they were working with dreadful weather. When they removed the whole side it was the day it started snowing!! They must have been freezing and soaked but they persevered in order to get the new one installed. They had to return another day to finish it off. Unfortunately for them it was a really wet day but they didn’t falter and when they left they took all the rubbish with them… two very pleasant young men.

Have used Global Windows several times and would recommend them highly to anyone needing doors and/or windows.

All representatives of the contractor were helpful, on time and courteous - from start to finish and including initial contact and office staff. I would have no hesitancy in either calling them again for future work or recommending them to friends.
I'm saying 8 for workmanship because there are pvc strips coming off the wall - I don't know if this is the fault of the contractor or the wall! And in the living room, there is a hole under the windowsill, which I believe was not there previously and which perhaps could have been fixed. Despite these two issues, overall a very good job and I am very pleased. The new windows have been a great blessing during the winter months so far.

Initial survey poor - 'surveyor' did not understand the client brief and ordered the wrong size window.
Recommended with provisor that when signing the survey document state that the 'dimensions stated have not been checked' otherwise they will imply that it is your responsibility to check accurate required measurements, which is clearly not true otherwise why have a 'surveyor' at all?

Surveyor asked if we would like a larger door than the quote stated. It would be about 2” larger than our current door. I said yes but the new door fitted is smaller than our old door.

The 2 lads where fantastic keegan & Arron. Couldn't have asked for better fitters really pleased.

Everyone was very professional.
The only disappointment is that the small skirting board returns were not put back on to finish the job. We now have to get someone to replace them. Also the fitters were an hour and half late arriving..so we had to get cover for school run..

Well organised at all levels. The work was done quickly and efficiently and the two installers, Aran and Kegan worked very hard. They were neat and considerate leaving nothing for us to clear up.
When we had the preparatory appointments your staff explained everything clearly and listened carefully when we told them what we wanted.

Second door fitted by Global Windows and just as good as the first door. Andy and Sean arrived on a horrible rainy day, but they got on with the job and cleaned up after they had finished, so was very pleased, but still felt sorry for them working in such horrible conditions.

And the door we picked looks absolutely beautiful.
