Product was faulty but I think that was the manufacturer’s fault not the contractor; however the contractor was slow to identify and solve the problem. They got there in the end.

There were many issues along the way and the fitting to completion took 4 months but the customer service was very good throughout and they persevered until completion. Happy with the final product.

Highly skilled fitting team

Our windows were complex in shape and down 97 steps. The team always turned up on time and did a great job in a very difficult location. At our request, they returned to fit a thumb turn and changed the locks so that we had one key for both doors as the property was a holiday let. They were flexible and responsive so I would not hesitate to recommend them to others – fabulous!

Both the builder , Will, that they used for installing the lintel and the fitters , Matt and Alex, worked very well and as tidily as they could in the circumstances. Very pleased too with the results.

We like the doors nd windows and the company did a good job fitting the products and were prompt with the Guarantee. Although there was a mix up on the colour of the glass in the door which took some time to sort out the company were very good at accepting responsibility for this and did not take final payment until everything was resolved.

This is a very good contractor. My wife and I had seen their work in another flat and even though Green Window’s price was slightly higher than another quote we received we decided to appoint Green Window. The work was completed in one day. I have marked down tidiness to 8 rather than 10 because their dust sheets were very dusty! One very dusty cover was put over our double bed that had a cream duvet. We had to wash the duvet afterwards. I had to ask the men to put dust sheets on the kitchen floor. We spent a day cleaning through the flat after the work was completed. All in all though we are delighted with the finished article.

I would not have such a negative view of this company if an offer had been made to clean the smeary window glass and sweep the debris from the paths. The staff member who came to paint the patches of render at my request placed his ladder and completed the work without giving me warning, or ringing the bell to let me know he was here.

The service from Green Windows is really good. Lovely company to deal with a great reputation. Their products are good quality with good Guarantees. After Sales service is great, with calls always returned promptly. I have had many years of experience with different companies over two houses and they come out as one of the best I have dealt with. The team who fitted my windows were lovely and worked tirelessly to get the job done in cold January weather. They left everything clean and tidy and were very patient with my frequent questions. I have already had many admiring comments about my windows from walkers going past and neighbours.I would not hesitate to recommend them and will definitely use them for any future work on my house.

Initial problems that window was too big so had to adjust fitting for window but this was dealt with efficiently. Replacement window was damaged and needed to be replaced, again this was done efficiently. Finally upstairs window had incorrect number of panes and needed to be changed, the replacement was incorrect size and again had to be remade. This was communicated well and dealt with efficiently.
