Really pleased with the finished porch and glad we chose Stafford Windows to carry out the work.
We always get suspicious of companies (many that pitch up unannounced!) that start with the high price, but then after a ‘call’ to their manager they can reduce it by ‘x’ amount, which is something that you don’t get with Stafford windows, just a sensible and competitive price form the start.
The contractor performed well but I never make recommendations regardless.
Very pleased with the fitters, all work carried out to a high standard & cleaned up any mess.

Window quality is excellent. Communication between fitters, quality and consistency of fitting is poor. There are a few experienced fitters who were outstanding and have excellent standards of service and fitting, who needed to spend a lot of time correcting errors. Felt like I was constantly flagging problems and made to feel fussy.Customers should never hear squabbling between fitter, nor should they be made to feel wrong when an installation is so expensive. Could have kept the work materials tidier in the back garden to allow easier access to my shed, a minor point but wood, plastic etc could have been moved to one side. Lots of screws left – I�m still finding them in the garden. Communication via phone from Installations manager could have been better. I sometimes had to call several times in order to get a call back. There were a couple of occasions where I couldn�t take a call, but no message was left on the answerphone.Generally very pleased with workmanship and installers very polite. Electrician and plaster were excellent in every way.

The work was carried out efficiently and to a good standard and they were very understanding of the work we needed them to provide.
Although eventually the installation was completed I would not recommend this company for complete double glazing for a house.The initial installation was shoddy and the mess was too much.The company did rectify this problem and at least the upstairs work was far better.The customer service was very good .

Although the initial installation workmanship standards were not ideal, (drilled into the inside of the window and did not tell us, Bay window lead flashing not to standard ) they were rectified with a different crew who were excellent and rectified the issues. New window etcThe owner of the company listened to our concerns and was very helpful.Despite the initial issues of the job we would recommend the company , and we would have them again .
They should sort out their financial product offering as it is not consistent with the FCA

The external areas were not fully cleaned after the first three days. On one day there was sealant on our drive in a number of areas. On the same day the workers walked into the house with their work shoes on when no floor protection was put down. To be fair this was at the end of the day but they may have walked onto sealant. The workers had to refit the side windows on one bay as they had not installed them in line. Our original builder didn�t make things easy for them as some of the brickwork and stone window cills were slightly out of line. Stafford UPVC Windows were recommended to us but

Made up and delivered the wrong size window, so had to wait a further 3 weeks to get the installation completed.

Given we had different advice from the people taking the measurements to the installers this created a lot of issues on installation day because we had different recommendations from both so we weren�t sure what to go with. I would recommend having the measurers and installers be the same people if possible because we have 3 different people look at the window in total can be confusing (quotation, measurer and installer). Overall though, we are very happy with our new window and the installation guy was great, very helpful and apologetic for the confusion.

I was advised in September that the installation would be complete before winter and in one day. This did not happen! I had to keep chasing Stafford UPVC for an installation date.My front door was sent out without a letterbox fitting, so had to be cut on site, and was eventually fitted with a cheap, nasty commercial letterbox. At one point I had 6 fitters at my property in one day, because I was told it would all be done in one day. It wasn’t, the bi-fold doors were fitted at a later date. I was harassed by the fittings manager, who also tried to intimidate me by copying the whole co

Super effort from Stafford Windows UPvc who have even come back out for subsequent teething issues. Very pleased with our front door which really is a premium product and pleased knowing installer readily available to assist when required.John COX
The workmanship, product & it�s installation was excellent however, I wish that I didn�t have to chase the company more than twice regarding installation date (was informed that the manager planning the work would contact me but failed to do so).What rubbed salt into the wound was their accounts department tried to bill me for a Lintel that was not required (included by their surveyor as a �possible�). If I hadn�t checked the bill fully & challenged it, Stafford UPVC would have received monies by deceit.What �should� be a glowing review, can not.
I can’t stress strongly enough how good the after sales was from Stafford uPVC. They checked my satisfaction at every stage of the work and came out swiftly to clarify any questions I had. I was kept informed of what would happen next and they were accomodating to my availability when booking each aspect in.
Provided good technical advice at initial enquiry stage, very accurate survey and excellent fitting team.
Brickwork to a very poor standard even after been taken down once.Plaster alignment of roof had to be reset 3 times even after I told them before skimming.Overall supervision and workmanship was poor for a lot of money.The final payment was made over 5 weeks ago now and I am still waiting on the electrical cert.
We were disappointed that the windows could not be fitted before Christmas, having been ordered four months beforehand. We understand that the delay was caused by supply delays due to Covid.
Possibly due to COVID and delivery problems(to contractors, not us) there were some “communication” hiccups causing some inconvenience to us. All personnel we met were generally helpful, although there were quite a few changes during the extended period over which the contracts ran( over 6 months).

Order mixed up!
Found over thirty snags with the completed work:Trimming/caulking around the windows was not complete and where it was complete the contactor did not vacuum before applying, as such there is dirt and debris within white sealant that cannot be painted over. Job completed leaving bits of old UPVC in garden, large amount of rubble from building works left in back garden including breeze blocks and old sealant tubes.Attempted overcharge for unfitted lintels.Job felt rushed and not completed to an adequate standard.
