I’ve had to chase the certificate for works completed in Sep 2023 and the work only seems to have been finally filed with you in 2024 because I’ve chased for the certificates. I was also sent a ‘guarantee’ by Oswestry Windows and Doors which they sent when I asked for my window certificates (for the 3rd time). I’m not sure why they didn’t send the Certass certificate.

I would recommend this company. Friendly competent team. The old roof was taken down in just a few hours. The new insulated roof is perfect. We can now use our conservatory all year round. So pleased with the result. Thank you OWD you deserve a 5 STAR rating

Oswestry Windows and Doors is the sort of trader that I believed no longer existed. They are absolutely reliable, trustworthy and thorough.

It was a very hard installation but they handled all the issues professionally & did not leave until the job was completed.

Only problem we had was the floor in the conservatory was not covered whistle the new roof was being installed which left some quite bad marks on very expensive floor tiles. However this was rectified in a timely manner but needn’t have been a problem if the floor was covered in the first place. I would still highly recommend the company.

one window was replaced once due to marks inside the glazing unit, a second window unit was replaced 7 times. once or twice is just a mistake but 7 times is really poor workmanship. it should of been checked before being sent out to me. I lost out on nearly £1000 in earning due to staying in for yet another replacement glazing unit. They did swap out with no arguments and Neil always apologised but that’s not really the point. I lost a lot of time and money over this. But it seems to be ok now.My new door also leaked and the knocker wasn’t fitted to start with, when it was, a bent one was supplied this was fitted at an angle and the door was scratched. the knocker was replaced again but the door is scratched and time will tell if the leak was fixed.

Polite, considerate of the property and cleaned up very well.

Still waiting for manufacturers warranty and operating instructions for this and a previous product (front door)

From the initial consultation, to the installation and the follow up we were kept fully informed of what was happening throughout.The guys who came to do the installation were polite and friendly and left leaving the room cleaner than when they started!When we had a ‘crisis’ with some other work they had completed a couple of years back an engineer was there within the hour and had it fixed – great service!

We had few issues with roof which in fairness OWD resolved after we pointed out the issue this could have been avoided and rectified before they were an issue if OWD had realised slates were unsuitable before they applied to most of the roof and then had to replace.Project took lot longer than we were led to believe as well when the salesman quoted a timescale which was frustrating – again if we had known it was going to be longer than quoted at outset would not have been an issue as we would have expected it.So personally would not recommend – maybe we were unlucky.

There were lots of problems with the build of my conservatory however customer service was excellent and all problems were resolved. The contractors contacted me as soon as they were able to return to complete the job after Covid. We are pleased with the outcome and would recommend this company.

Initially fitting of wooden window ledges was poor but this was immediately rectified to a high standard by the contractor

I was not very impressed with the door hinges, but other that that everything was fine. The after sales help was very slow.
