This composite door, ordered in March 2023 and initially installed 1st June 2023 is still not satisfactory. The threshold is very shallow so that fitting of internal carpets is difficult. In addition adjustment of door height to prevent water ingress has not been successful. Some distortion of the door slab has also been reported.
Do date (23-02-2024) no satisfactory solution has yet been found with either the installer or the manufacturer to resolve the above defects.

I was assured my shutters would fit back after the new windows were installed. They don’t. Thats a more than £2000 loss to me.
I can’t open the main window in my lounge as it rubs on the masonry outside which will damage the seal. In this hot weather that is a big issue and yet no one has been back to adjust the window despite telling me that they would.
When installing the windows they tried to cut corners by installing the new windowsill over a very old uneven one. They did rectify this once I asked them to.

Everything went well with my job.
