The contractor should use a fixed formula for calculating the quote, not base it on whether they can charge the maximum amount of money - an honest competitive quote will ensure the longevity of the business and will encourage future customers to make further recommendations to other people

Friendly efficient service

Had new UPVC windows across my whole house plus new aluminium bi-fold door. From the initial quote, to visiting the shop to the fitting I cannot fault this company. I was very nervous as it's a big spend and your windows are for life but after having several quotes I'm so glad I went with Affordable Windows. Big shout out to Candice, was very helpful over email and the phone and of course Alex and Shannon who fitted the windows. They were very tidy, polite, kept me informed and generally just nice guys to have around for 3 days. I'm so happy with the final outcome and will be HIGHLY recommending this company to others. I found the company really easy to work with from getting the quote to the installation, everyone was friendly and helpful to speak to. The installers were courteous and tidy and did the work to a high standard.

We received very good service from Affordable Windows throughout the process from making the initial call to request a visit and a quote through to the final installation. Communication was very good and the window replacement took place ahead of schedule.

Affordable Windows in Stevenage are a company I would not hesitate to recommend to family and friends. From initial enquiry right through to the installation day, cannot fault the service we received.

Despite the window manufacturer screwing up a few times they kept coming back until all the issues were resolved.

Some of the glasses were installed with scratches and so the team had to come back to fix these which is why a 10 couldn't be given for the workmanship standards. However these were replaced in a reasonable time and we were kept updated on progress.

Alex who came to fit the windows was brilliant, he was a quick clean worker and very knowledgeable about the products.
There was a small scratch on one of the glass units, this was replaced by Affordable Windows very quickly and with no push back at all.

They seem to be a family business with integrity. Very helpful and all workmen were keen to do a good job.

Had squeak on the one door hinges which comes and goes rung the contractor up and all they said was the noise will go but no explanation why its developed this annoying intermittent squeak.

Excellent service and a great quality installation could not be happier with my new front door.
