Initial fit was rushed and errors were made, and fitter at time was about to leave the company. Parts damaged by the initial fitter and manufacturing faults were eventually fixed by other fitters in same company who did a better job but over a very long period to final completion.

The administrative left a bit to be desired. I received a brusque email from them regarding outstanding work (which is still outstanding). I feel that this could have been managed better.

The installer was excellent and really careful, considerate and precise in his work.

Very pleased with the whole process from planning ,the product and the installation. Phil the installer extremely professional. Highly recommend the company and soon to have further work completed.

Very professional company and fitters

I have already sent Swain and Rands an honest feedback response plus several emails detailing what I am not happy with - namely the new front door installation. They are sending someone from the company to see these on the 15th September 2023.

We could not be more pleased with the service we have received.

Overall really good, they were very late to start the job (was told around 9 but didn’t arrive till the afternoon) they did seam rushed and didn’t finish until the late evening. Some minor marks were left around the walls on the windows which they did apologise for and being out our attention.

Excellent work from sales, to installation.

It took three visits and two months for our door to be properly installed. The first time, parts were missing/incorrect and the spyhole was broken on installation. The second time, the new lock fitted was faulty. The third time, it was fixed. We are however very happy with the final, finished product, and the slightly lower customer service rating refers only to our dealings with one specific person from the company - the fitters and manager we spoke to and dealt with throughout the process were all excellent.

Right from commencement, through to completion, Swain and Rands provided a professional but friendly service and delivered a quality product on schedule.

We can only praise the contractor, and the staff who arrived on time, first laying covers over all the carpets being walked over, the original window very carefully removed and replaced, plus new window ledges inside and out. 100% pleased.

Excellent professional service

everything done when and how they said. No pressure during buying process but great patience demonstrated by them. Care taken to ensure we were satisfied with product selection and design. Any manufacture defects put right within a few days....their fitter pointed out more defects than we could see!
The fitters left the house each day leaving it super clean from their work and gave you confidence in what they were doing.

The contractors arrived at the expected time, introduced themselves and explained how long the work should take, what access they needed and got to work straight away. They got the work completed quickly and in a professional manner, tied up the work place and gave a full run through of the door operation and how to carry out any minor maintenance. Excellent work and service. I will definitely refer them to others and use them again if I have need.
