Windows were left unable to close properly. Had to have 2 more visits to correct the issues. Had to ring the company twice to get any response, even after I had emailed the person in charge. I was not advised that the glass I used in a bathroom in a Main Street was not as obscure as I previously had in existing windows.

It was just a shame that a job that should have taken 3 and a half days ran into three weeks because of one damaged window which was supposedly rectified and a new date for fitting given, only to be let down by your supplier for not fitting a part of the window which meant a further week’s delay, which caused us a great deal of stress and inconvenience. That aside the fitters were excellent and we are extremely pleased with our new windows and door and would not hesitate to recommend them. They were let down by their suppliers .

The number of errors/mistakes was unbelievable and quite literally a joke; however, in saying that, Camel did replace/fix/repair all the issues without question, except that they wanted to charge for some errors that were theirs.It warrants a thread on Facebook/Twitter with the comedy of errors.

It would have been incredibly helpful if this contractor had agreed to install the new residential door before we had the area to which it leads completely replastered. They were asked to do this; but refused to take measurements or order the door until new flooring was laid despite us being able to advise the precise type of flooring and its thickness. This now means that there is some “making good” to be carried out by our own builder as the new door is a slimmer profile [thickness] than the old door. Please note: a contractor that installed a new residential door in our former property

Would not recommend. Windows have not been installed to a high quality, leaving expanding foam visible on the frames. Frames have been scratched, they were not cleaned by the installer.Customer service was extremely poor and the contractor came across as arrogant. Time keeping and communication poor, taking 9 months to complete and settle the matter where we now have to source a third party to spray windows to tidy them up. Some workmen very lazy, we had to instruct them what needed to be done when they arrived. Parts were missing when they arrived to do a specific job. Wrong hardware supp

Very happy with the quality of products supplied and the costumer service to rectify problems. Unfortunately not impressed with fitters. Different fitters sent to property each time. No continuity of service. Not very knowledgeable with issues pertaining to the products they were fitting and even fitted the windows incorrectly so they cannot be opened as hitting the fascias!! Something I would have thought they would check as being able to open a window is a vital part of it’s usefulness.

The guys who fitted the windows were excellent, they knew what they were doing and were very experienced.The only thing that would have been improved is the customer service from the office. Just letting me know if they were on schedule for the work, when they would be arriving etc.

Considering the heavy rain throughout the day whilst the windows were being fitted we were very pleased that there was almost no inconvienence or delay to installing these windows, no internal decor needed to be touched up & externaly to mess left for me to clear away, in short we were very pleased with the product & the installation .

Help, support, guidance and patience with working through the products to meet my requirements, 2. The proposal, 3. Surveyor visit and 4. The installation. The installation included a whats app video call showing me the work completed and then later photographs being sent through, which I very much appreciated both communications as I was not on site on the day of the installation. Price and service felt good value for money despite initial quote increasing after survey. The scheduling team were flexible and accommodating having missed their original target date. Installers were polite, considerate and worked productively. Very tidy and neat job, workmanship standard of visible elements is very good, but some concerns regarding reveal detailing, specifically insulation and compliance GGF good practice details which I will raise with the aftercare team. Mistakes were made in ordering components which meant the job took longer than at first quoted. The tenant complained that the workmen were not tidy.The communication with the main office was very good.

Camel Glass Fitter ‘Glen ‘ was excellent with his fitting on a difficult situation but he persevered and worked hard ,. The finishing by fitter was top grade and would recommend his workmanship any time . Abbey in the office administration was very efficient in booking in fitting times and also very quick with invoice e mail copies for us to keep . We would have Camel Glass every time for such requirements of glass pvc items etc..

There is a large amount of snagging to be done, but they have agreed to come back and do it all when our build is complete.

Window measured incorrectly,had to wait for 3 weeks for replacement.The survey was not carried out properly and he seemed very rushed,hence first window not fitting properly

The door was not fitted correctly on the first attempt causing condensation at the base of the door and the frame had been badly painted by the manufacturer, the draught from the new door was worse than the door that had been replaced. Camel decided that new frame was required which took months to be delivered and the door has now been refitted, I am not confident that the draught and condensation issues have been fully resolved but we will now have to wait until we get some cold windy weather next winter.

We would defiantly recommend Camel Glass, Barnstaple, who I dealt with as I can not speak for any other branch. They are good friendly people, no problems at all top class branch. If all the other branches are like Barnstaple then they would be a top company.

Despite the extreme circumstances of the COVID 19 lockdown the work was eventually able to be completed to what appears to be an excellent standard and exactly as planned.

All but 2 of our windows had to be refitted or replaced. Our back door was not fitted correctly due to a basic installation process being missed, leaving us with excessive movement in the bottom of the door frame. The problems have now been rectified, however, the whole process which should have taken 4 days has taken 9 months and has been an extremely stressful experience.

Curved frames are clearly tricky and customer’s expectations need to be managed with examples ideally. Camel customer service and effort to ensure a good standard have been excellent.

All of our dealings with Camel Glass have been excellent, they have kept us fully up to date with delivery and installation dates and especially so throughout the Covid situation.Their after-sales service is also very efficient in dealing with the inevitable minor snagging issues.A very friendly and efficient company, we would highly recommend them, and indeed have done so.

A lack of checking of the new windows led to all the glass having to be replaced and on one window this was 4th time lucky. After some communication exchanges the contractor sorted everything out to our satisfaction. Not a great job.

The fitters need to check work and fitting, before leaving the job. Polish windows , especially patio door job. To get that finished new look, simple thing but makes a lot of difference.We had a few problems, but they were rectified . One fitter should be in charge of one job, then the job is finished to satisfaction.

There seemed to be lot of standing about smoking… we had a very good fixed price so not a problem for us…
