The fitters worked very well and apart from the repair to the damaged plaster at the front door the work was done to a good standard.The repair to the plaster was poor and the filler used has still not hardened 12 days after the work was completed.

Professional and always kept up to date with what was happening with fitting dates etc.Very high standards across the board. Only issue is with scaffolding, not timeous before or after work finalised.

Work on windows and doors was done efficiently and to high standard, we are very satisfied with everything. Installers were very professional and explained us everything that we wanted to understand. Would definitely recommend to others.

The 2 fitters Scott and I think the other one was called Michael. They were very reliable and friendly and done a great job. Windows look great very happy with them up to now . Also the whole process from pricing to measuring up all were done on time and great communication with company.

We had an issue with the choice of filler but after discussions it was resolved with professionalism by the Excel.

Excellent service from the whole team

Have used Excel Windows on two occasions now. Both times we have had issues.On the most recent occasion, although all issues got rectified, in my opinion it is issues that shouldn’t have occurred in the first place.

Excellent service from an excellent contractor. We have had work done by Excel Northeast on numerous occasions and the standard and quality of their product and workmanship has been consistently high.

The guys who did the work were excellent the product is good BUT the office and management staff were difficult .. communication between departments and with me as the customer was poor � they don�t coordinate with other workers( we were getting our roof done at the same time as a dormer.) ..equally wouldn�t tell me what they needed in place to do the job so I couldn�t tell the scaffolders/ roofers. The job wasn�t what we had agreed with the sales team but complaining just resulted in the boss being angry and rude with us. Whereas in the end the job was completed to our satisfaction it was

More communicative around installation and time frames – I had to chase up as hadn’t heard anything. Fitters were tidy but some discrepancies which need addressing. Nice product, would have had bottom openers if we knew this was an option. Additionally would have ensured both top and bottom side windows opened.

Very long delay in getting round to doing the job,much longer than was promised, however when they eventually started they were very good, they were tidy and polite. The workmanship was very good and they fitting was excellent

Incredibly quick turnaround — from initial phone contact to installation of patio doors and 3 windows took less than 3 weeks.Price was competitive, all contact with the company (sales, fitters, after sales) was friendly and professional.

Work carried out by first two contractors was sub standard and a complete mess. Company had to send another two contractors to put it right, but another two days wasted.

One of the windows had been damaged in transit. However, it was replaced within the week. I only gave a 9 for tidiness, due to some parts, of what I believe was packaging found in the garden.

Took far too long to produce the door and communication was abysmal. I had to argue strongly with their customer service rep to call their supplier. Once they did, the door was installed within 2 days.

Due to issues working around customers with Covid we agreed to have the installation earlier than planned, to fit in with Excel. However, installation was frequently disrupted while fitters were called to other jobs.

Sean was very polite and clean during his jobs, and has excellent communication.

Arrived on day and at time specified. The removal of the old doors and the installation of the new doors were completed without any fuss; both of the men obviously knew their trade. They created the minimum of mess and left my patio as they had found it. No complaints at all – wish all tradesmen were as reliable and proficient.

Cigarette butts, glass, rubbish and broken bricks left all over garden both front and back. Broken soffit. No reply from sales team for months, ignored. Sadly, we would have been fine with delays but ignorance is not professional or adequate for customer service.

The only issue we had was that we had agreed a date “to be completed at latest” set date. 6 months passed, and nothing was heard, and we had to chase the company to press for installation. In fairness to the company, they did arrange to install at their earliest opportunity and rectified several teething problems within two weeks of installation to a satisfactory standard. Would recommend the company as they have now put measure in place to keep customers more updated with installation dates etc.

Some issues with the time to complete (over 6 months) – whilst we do recognise the impact of Covid – this still seems excessive. the work & quality of the windows is fab.

Very professional and a good job done on very large French doors and kitchen window.

Inaccurate quotes and then unable to fulfil original agreement. Customer service at the start was poor and seen me frequently chasing updates rather than the other way around, leading to delays. When we’re on site the work was of a good standard but again slightly let down as not everything that was required for the job had actually been ordered, resulting in another 4 week delay.

Excellent! We�ve used Excel previously and have recommended to family who have also purchased.Very professional & courteous, installers have cleaned thoroughly after themselves which can�t be said for all contractors. Would recommend to anyone and will use again in future.

Met the requirements and the work was completed as expected.

We had to get them back five times due to scratches on windows. These had to be replace five times and we were not even offered 1p knocked off the total price for the inconvenience.

Door took too long to arrive, door is not good quality, silicone was all sticking out, glass should have even inserted so as not to see the manufacturers internal labeling.We put a new door on our old house, supplied by excel and it was great, no issues at all, that�s why we used them again, but I won�t use them for anything else.The door was ordered on March 28, and it was only finally completed yesterday 3rd August, Housing estates go up quicker than that.
