Brendan, the installer was friendly, professional and carried out the window fitting with the utmost care. Leaving everywhere clean and tidy with no making good required.

Communication has been great from the beginning and the workmanship was very good.

Based on my experience I would not be able to recommend insulating windows. This is mostly due to the installation being delayed by several months and the communication during this time being less than satisfactory. The installation did have a few issues and some of the products had to be replaced. Having said that, the team have done their upmost to resolve the issues and have gone above and beyond to get these resolved for me. I am pleased with my installation and thank the team for getting this completed.

The fitting of the windows was carried out in a professional manner and the fitters concerned made an excellent job of replicating the original Victorian Installation.
The product suitability appears to be good but only time will tell

Customer service generally good - approachable, prompt email response rate, minimal sales pressure. Phone put down on me before I spoke on occasion.
Installers - polite, friendly, no issues having them in my home.
Reliability - I had been informed timely when the van had broken down, but had to chase on a different day as they had not arrived but when I raised it, it was dealt with appropriately, timely and with an apology.
Tidiness - excellent, use of dust sheets, cleaned up afterwards with hoover
Workmanship - minor paint damages on some walls from installations process. Few
broken roof tiles from process which they replaced.
Product suitability - windows matched existing remaining older windows as requested, seem good quality products so far, happy with their aesthetics.

There were a couple of manufacturing issues - all the glass had to be replaced and packers added to frame Timberweld joint/frame.
However, Insulating Windows dealt with both professionally and l'm happy with the end result.

Very poor communication. No call back on left messages.

Had an appointment booked around 9am but received a text message around 11am advising me they were not coming. The seal was not done properly. Couple of scratches happened during installation, so a be more careful job would have been very much appreciated. The installation looked like done in so much of a rush, in fact 2 of the windows were installed incorrectly leaving a big gap between window and seal.

Re Insulating Windows I had previously used them on another property hence why wanted it to be a provider on this property's renovation work

Overall I'm happy with the end result but took 5 weeks to complete a job scheduled for 3 days. The installers left after 4 days without completing the trimming of the Windows on the outside so not sealed against the weather. They had problems installing a patio door which seem to divert their attention but shouldn't really have left site with an incomplete window installation. Follow up communication was very good and all issues resolved in the end.

Overall I'm happy with the end result but took 5 weeks to complete a job scheduled for 3 days. The installers left after 4 days (only on site for approximately 2.5 days of the 4) without completing the trimming of the Windows on the outside so not sealed against the weather. They had problems installing the patio door and left with the glass held in by wedges and a block of wood screwed into the frame to prevent the sliding door opening. The manufacturers attended site and determined which parts needed replacing , a few weeks later different fitters completed the job. The issue with door seemed to be a lack of training and the fitters told me they were unfamiliar with that type of door. Follow up communication with contractor was very good and all resolved in the end.

Mostly good. We asked for noise reduction and were recommended Laminate which I guess works well, but each window has a trickle vent that lets the noise in anyway. We weren't informed of any other options, such as acoustic trickle vents at the time, so we paid extra for something that isn't quite what we wanted.

The workmen were, in general good and worked hard. Their sealant was either off or old though and all crumbled after a week. I've had to go around and re seal all of the window frames.

These windows are extremely well constructed and have very high insulation value.
I can only recommend this product and the company for installation.

MARVELLOUS!

The initial installation was unacceptably poor, which they acknowledged when I complained and they came to inspect the work. After quite a bit of chasing on my part, they came back as agreed and re-did the job several months later, at no further cost, to a standard I was happy with.

Three Problem was rectified satisfactorily
But should not have happened

The standard of workmanship from the original fitter was not as good as we were expecting and after we contacted Insulating Windows about our concerns, it took them several weeks to organise the remedial works. Their customer service department were slow to respond to our feedback and we felt we were not being listened to. Eventually, after several phone calls and emails, we received a sincere apology and a commitment to complete the necessary repairs and adjustments. 2 senior members of the company were assigned to complete the remedial works and this was done to a very high standard on 03/03/23. We are very pleased with the standard and suitability of the products that we have received and would like to thank Insulating Windows for this installation.

From placing the order for my new French Doors, to the finish of the installation the exercise was a pleasure. The office staff are friendly and very efficient. The technicians who fitted the doors were very good and fast, the job took just over four hours, with no mess to clear up after.

We are completely satisfied with the installation by Insulating Windows and our dealings with the company at each stage of the process. There was no hard sell and the replacement windows and doors match the original windows like-for-like, but with significantly improved double glazing and insulation. The two fitters who installed the windows were thoroughly professional, working quickly and cheerfully in at times challenging conditions, and adjusting their plans to cope with scaffolding erected for another job. A minor problem with one glazed unit was quickly fixed.

The work that was carried out was very good and the subcontractors were very good. Communication with our contact at Insulating windows was at times difficult.
