Window leaked and one window had a manufacturing flaw which caused it to crack.

Overall I am very happy with the work done. I think the communication from Andy could be improved in regards to when exactly work is going to be undertaken. However I would recommend his services, his team was very good and the work was complete to the right standard.

The installation team ensured that they installed new windows and French doors as best as they possibly could in my old house. The finished installation looks really good and the installers did the best they could to do the job properly. I would suggest that better protective measures should be taken prior to commencing work. I placed double layered thick cardboard on the floor and a heavy sharp tool had fallen from an installer's pocket and taken a lump out of my laminate floor. An unfortunate occurrence that I have since effected a repair. The laminate flooring was expensive, less than a year old and the damage could have been avoided with better tool management / protective coverings.

overall we are happy with the end product. The workmen were considerate and good at their job. overall. we did have concerns but they were put right to a satisfactory standard.
There was problems with communication and organisation. There were many delays and the job took longer than we were told it would though we appreciate some of those delays may have been unavoidable.
However, despite all of the above we were pleased with end results.

Have a better plan on time schedule for the work to be completed and if you are busy tell the client . What is happening and what can be done.

Great service throughout, fitters did a great job and were extremely tidy.

1. Contractor had forgotten about the job. I had to remind him 12 hours prior to start or it would not have been done.
2. Bricklayer attempted to construct a cavity wall with no insulation and no lintel over the window. I had to insist this was done.

Need to be more organized and give dates of when work can be started.

Good time scale for delivery and installation. Installer arrived on his own, I had to help him to remove the old door and install the new ones. Some left overs left outside on the grass. Poorly finished the job and had to return couple of days later to correct. Overall good job but communication could be better.

It was a long time from ordering to fitting, Over 2.5 months. Seller should have informed me regarding length of time from quoting order.
Otherwise, service was good.

The work was carried out to a good standard and I am very pleased with the results. My only grumble would be that the work took longer to start than originally quoted.

Even though I provided a detailed written specification to the company, a casual conversation identified that the fitters understanding of the job was entirely different. This miscommunication also resulted in excessive damage to existing woodwork as I believe the fitter thought that the surrounds were being replaced. Even having provided a photo of the required flashing around a window, the fitter described an approach which I identified as being flawed and had to offer an alternative method and purchase the lumber. Multiple time-related promises were made (including appointments and work) absolutely none were kept. Unsupervised, this work would have resulted in the incorrect windows being measured made and fitted, and leaky flashing being installed on the roof.
