I’d recommend for the end product only. The service wasn’t good. Firstly, the front door came without the hardware that I had asked for and the French doors were sculptured on the inside, but not on the outside. I asked for sculptured on both sides. I had to wait months for him to rectify that. I also had to chase him for the certificate. It’s a shame about the service, because he did a good job with the fitting.

The team were very good, always cleaning up at the end of the day. It took just over a week to complete the work and at all times were polite and courteous, would highly recommend them.

Job displaced a lot of messy black lime: the contractor could have provided more dust sheets & ensured workers stayed on them. Mr Batty acknowledged the mess & deducted the cost of carpet cleaning without quibble – appreciated. Windows were fitted without a recess to the lintel – only noticed after the installation was in & fixed – high building not easily seen. When raised Mr Batty said this was due to problems obtaining a fixing, although as the frames have alternative fixing points, I felt this was solvable. A solution – to retro install drip cills was suggested – the installers returned to do this. Result is an improvement but am left a bit anxious about the vulnerability of the top join to weather: Mr Batty said he fully guarantees this. Overall – pleased with these windows.
