The experience of buying and having the installation from Village Windows was just first class all round.

Dear VW,

I had an upvc bay window installed in Sept 2023 in my property. There was a gap of 25mm at the top and 40mm on the side. I raised the concern as my tenants were complaining. Village Window the installers assured me that the 25mm 40mm was by the regulations. A week or so after in the rain, our tenants started getting water coming through. Village Widow returned and filled with more silicone. In Sept. 2023 the issue with infiltration started again. Could you let me know by writing, if the gaps mention above is fine according to the regulation. Could I have the regulation/rule/law where it reaffirm the gaps allowed. If the gaps are not within regulation, could I have corrected size window re-installed. Tenants are very dissatisfied and looking for compensation. Many thanks,

The new doors are of good quality and were fitted well. However, having just refurbished our living room, the installation of the patio doors was the last item. Although the fitting was on time , the mess left behind was extraordinary - the brand new carpets and furnishings were all covered with a very thick layer of dust and took days to clean up. No dust protection was put in place by the contractor. There was no mention of there being dusty work before the work started.

Very polite, friendly and did a wonderful job.

Very helpful in resolving issues with the original installation.

Contractor was helpful and reassuring as he had worked on the building before and I was happy to go with his recommendation.
The workman on the day were on time efficient and cleared up very well and left everything clean and tidy .

Windows are top spec and look great! Only reason I marked down the workmanship is because the external repair to the brickwork where the window went in was a bit lumpy. But I would recommend Chris and his team to anyone - have used them for years - super company to deal with and completely honest, which is a breath of fresh air.
