Every contact was been professional and straight forward, all company employees from when I met when they measured up, and when installed, were all been an asset to the company. The standard of the fitting of the windows is perfect, and the courtesy of each person has been exemplary. An amazing positive experience; I’d highly recommend this company to others.

Excellent work and very reliable

I only rated tidiness 5 because the lounge door was left open when the windows were being removed. The installer was using a power tool creating a lot dust and the dust was bellowing out of the lounge into the rest of the house. Fortunately I noticed this and shut the door to prevent further spread of the dust. If I’d have been told what he was about to do I would also have covered all my furniture up because the whole room was completely covered in dust He just pulled the curtains shut which had little impact on the dust spreading.
I understand why they used the tools, it was to prevent damage to the stonework & I do appreciate them taking that into consideration.
The installers were friendly, polite and did an excellent job. We are extremely pleased with the windows. Thank you.

Extremely good service and product, only downside quite a long waiting time from quote to installation.

We had to wait over 6 months for our product . The fitters have been great but the office staff are abrupt and quite rude at times. They use generic emails and even then don’t adjust them accurately.

From order to installation took 5 months which is to long

Had high expectations from this company having read reviews, however my experience was very disappointing. Installed the wrong profile windows despite two personal visits to the showroom and making it quite clear exactly my preference. Was reassured on both occasions, yes not a problem. The fitters were very good, not their fault and have no complaints. Never had an apology or explanation of the mix up from the company but it certainly was not my fault. Only had two windows fitted so not the best start for the rest of the house, just have to live with it I suppose. Seems to be a lack of communication between the teams in the office.

Unfortunately the customer service aspect of GHW is very poor - no verbal communication regarding available installation dates - you get what you get by email whether it suits and you have to contact them to arrange suitable times/dates which also get cancelled at short notice or on the day! Also had several problems with one of the side glass panels containing faults - took 3 more attempts to get a faultless side panel glass. What about quality checking especially when it's a replacement for a faulty panel? Took almost 14 weeks from main installation to final replacement.

Although the estimator had made a mistake the contractors sorted it out most satisfactorily.

certass constantly gets this wrong

We have had a slight problem with the front door lock. This was reported to the contractor straight away and they dealt with it very quickly. Pleased with their work and their attitude towards me as a customer.

Workmanship and quality control not great, had to call them out to complete unfinished work and faulty products. Also two glazing units damaged in transit due to poor loading, had to wait 6 weeks for 2 new double glazed units.
