Very pleased with the completed job
Excellent workmanship
Contractor both fabricates and installs the double glazing which improves accountability
The fitting of the product was fine but the manufacture/design of the windows chosen did not meet expectations.
Friendly family run business. Good choice of well made windows.Competitive rates and a professional polite service.
Brilliant job
They provide a first class service with a well made product
Very quick to do my windows but job took too long as workers were off didnt have correct materials so had to keep going back to base.Polite nice people one most of the time last day was a new chaps first day with company left real mess outside and cemented over my plant so it was covered in cement . Front door draughty and window not finished in bedroom number two .
Did a very good job.
yes we have used them in the past ,very tidy & good workers. this worker was not up to fitting our door & window, as we found out later he had problems at home. we complained to customer services about the work ,they sent out a team which put things right. to the standard we received previously.
We’ve ordered more windows.
I have used this company several times and have always been very pleased with the workmanship inside the house but they do fail to implement the same standard outside the house. They need to finish off the cementing in a much neater way. It is always left very rough and not neat and tidy. It takes a lot of work to make the windows look as they should on the outside of the house!
Terrible installation by operatives who either didn’t care or were untrained.
EXCELLENT TEAM OF FITTERS & GREAT STANDARD OF WORKMANSHIP ALL ROUND,.
Great Service
A very courteous and conscientious installation team
Very professional
Good and clear communication with the contractor at all times.
Some difficulties due to material shortages.
Some damage not reported during installation.
Easy to deal with, very tidy & courteous on site. Just a lovely company to deal with. Please do share this with them.
I would recommend if they get their suppliers sorted out . It didnt help that they had all sorts of issues due to coronavirus and it would have been better for us if they had waited till they had everything in place instead of it taking over 5 weeks to eventually get the job completed. This was very frustrating especially not always knowing when they would turn up to work.
Fitter carried out the installation on time and to a high standard of expertise, with the installation left clean and tidy. Fitter encountered a slight mismatch in door frame dimensions to door opening. Fitted managed to overcome the problem on site and with excellent result.
They did everything that was promised.
Additional comments have been passed onto the owner of the company and discussed with him.
The office & men on site were great. Did a lovely clean job, really pleased. My property looks amazing & has made a massive different inside to noise & warmth. Thank you guys.
The workmen had a lot of tea breaks and overran on the timing. The finish is not particularly good. We acknowledge that the space was difficult and the spec was not straightforward. One of the workmen tried to be very helpful and did show considerable skill, but all the same we are not especially pleased with the result. Fortunately we eventually had a plasterer to make good and the result now is satisfactory.
The fitter arrived and start to fit the window alone as his colleague was unable to attend. We obserbed him leaning out of the window cavity & anchoring his feet on the walls and on our curtain tie back hooks, one of which we noticed after the visit was damaged. The fitter pointed out the window had a scratch inside the double glazing. When the quality assessor came we mentioned the curtain tie hook now being damaged and he advised that the fitter should have been working with a partner and a harness system that braces against the door jam. We advised the quality assessor no such equipment was used. The fitter also left lots of rubble on the porch and in the porch gutter, and over one of our cars. The fitter did a terrible job of fitting the lower window trim.
Windows themselves very good and their office Caroline kept us well informed. However, poor finish with gaps left under and above some windows, poor attempt at cement / mortar on some outside patches and mess left on window sills and patio outdoors – which was disappointing. Plus, they forgot to fit a door panel and I returned this to their HQ as fitters forgot all about it (they did give a reasonable reduction on bill as a result). Finally, no walk around with fitter with me or my wife to show us finished work and ask our opinions – not great customer service from the fitters, they need some extra training in this area.
any issues were followed up quickly and cheerfully.
The original installation team was one fitter and an apprentice, and the combination of weather conditions, Covid restrictions and complexity of the installation meant that they ended up pushed for time to complete the job. Consequently, there were a few snags including a leaking roof and, unfortunately, it took a while for the contractor to return to correct these. I had to phone on numerous occasions to chase up which was disappointing. However, everyone at the company was polite and professional throughout.
