The windows are super quality and look amazing, although we did pay what we felt was a premium price for the product, so this was as expected. The contractors, whilst tidy in the house, parked their vans over our front lawn and churned up some of the grass. They did move eventually when asked to do so. It’s a really small point, but would have made the experience more reassuring, especially when such large sums are changing hands! – the customer service prior to the install could have been tighter. Just swift confirmations when the invoices were paid (several days went past) and also doing a check in by phone or email a day to two in advance of installation. We had realised the evening before the team were due to arrive that we hadn’t heard anything for a few weeks!. We’re really pleased with the end product though!

3 nr appropriately manned gang arrived in the morning on time at the house to remove the existing and fix 6 nr new factory finished timber windows at first floor level; they were all polite and worked efficiently, protected house finishings both internally and externally, installed all units complete with sealant to match; carried out full cleaning on completion; cleared all arisings from site at the end of the day. Well done.

Initial sales meeting didn�t provide opportunities to discuss and agree the finer details of the end product, which led to later amendments to the order.

I am pleased to be able to review this company, from the initial visit from the area manager to the surveyor and finally with the actual installation staff, I have been impressed with their timekeeping, diligence, honesty and standard of work. We can’t rate The New Window Company high enough, from the initial consultation to the completion of the installation of a high quality product.All of the people we have dealt with at the company have been helpful, professional and courteous.The team installing the windows had to deal with a number of challenges, including the removal of very old and messy sash windows along with the inclement weather, and they did their utmost to minimise the disruption and mess in our little cottage, whilst maintaining a great sense of humour and professionalism.

We experienced several issues that soured our satisfaction, hence a mark of 7 for customer service. There was a delay in the ordering the windows from their supplier, due to unanswered queries from them. Once installed it was found that clear glass was in a bathroom window instead of the ordered obscure glass, requiring an on-going delay in replacement. Some final interior frame sealing work had been ommitted requiring a return visit by the installer. A cheque in final payment for the windows was mistakenly placed in a blank paying-in envelope at the companies bank requiring the cheque to be cancelled and a second payment made.

Excellent product, excellent service

This is a superb product and The New Window Company are both professional and helpful. They provide a fantastic service, with attention to detail and excellent aftercare.

The overall customer service was very good and the sales staff were friendly and helpfull. However we feel that the quality of the product was below our expectations and the workmanship could have been a lot better. To their credit, they did listen to our grievances and we arrived at a solution in the form of a decent reduction of the balance we owed.

Customer service from Maria was very good. Any questions that we had were answered in a timely manner. The window fitters were excellent. I was surprised by the high level of craftmanship and hard work that I observed on the day by the workmen fitting the windows (Ben, Edward and Lawrence).

They are also extremely courteous and prompt in dealing with admin and finance too. We couldn’t be better pleased with the door we chose and the care so evidently taken to fit it accurately. They did a fantastic job and we are delighted with the install. Our dealings with the company from the outset has been exemplary and every member of the team we have dealt with have been exceptional in their field of work – from the sales with Mike, through the surveyors and the install team.

No complaints about workmanship/ reliability etc but 50% of the order was wrong so they had to return and change the door and order new glass for front door panels which resulted in an delay of completion

Slightly surprised we didn’t get surround strips to all windows which we had asked for but, other than that, outstanding work and company.

We were very happy with the windows, and the service from the staff, from the from visiting to the showroom to the men installing the windows.

Really pleased with the Contractor, the workmanship, the installation team and customer service – everything was fine except the failure of the manufacturer to hit the delivery date or to advise earlier of the delay. Cannot blame the Contractor for that. More than happy to recommend Contractor to others and certainly would use them again should the occasion arise.

New Windows carried out replacement of all the windows and doors at our property – this latest one was to replace windows/doors in our barn. They also installed the windows and doors in our extension. We’d use them again if we ever needed windows/doors and can recommend them without reservation. The work was exemplary and they treated us with a great deal of kindness. They have proved themselves over and over again as reliable, extremely competent and honest.

We were impressed with all the team at the New Window Company, who treated us with the utmost courtesy. The stable door we chose is a high quality product, which was extremely well fitted and the fitter treated us and our home with the utmost respect.

Better to use brown sealant against red brick.

An excellent job from start to finish – from the 1st contact with Dean who travelled 75 miles at a bank holiday weekend to give an appraisal of the job and provide a quote .Gary then travelled the same distance to carry out the survey and make technical suggestions.Gary and his colleague then fitted the windows starting and finishing on the days advised .They literally left the property as they found it – not a speck of dust to be found .
