Overall, very good. Windows seem good quality. Very pleased.
Errors in order forms. Chasers for payments even after payment made. Now our composite front door has been fitted, we have several issues with it - leaking, poor fitment, damage to render on outside. I have made 3 attempts to contact Launa, via Whatsapp and webform via their own digital channels. I have been ignored. It's not for me to chase a poor quality company, i'll be taking this further via consumer credit or legal channels, appalling service and quality throughout.

We have been impressed at how this installation has been implemented. AGS responded well to our enquiries and requests and allowed us the space to make our decisions without pressure. We shall use them again.

Snagging issue reported - the alignment of the door within the frame is out causing the draft strips to be pulled out of the frame., awaiting a response to resolve, e-mail sent on the 29/2/2024.
The service we received while making initial enquiries and trying to place the order fell far below our expectations. There was a mess up on the quote, and then calls went unanswered. It took two months longer than we had hoped to get it sorted. If we hadn't already used Launa and been pleased with the windows we would have walked away. However, once the order was placed, the windows were manufactured and installed within a reasonable period of time. The fitters did a good job again; although they were not perhaps the best at clearing up, they did an excellent job of fitting the windows, which was what I was most concerned with. We would recommend Launa with the caveat of don't expect great customer service from Launa.

Due to a mix up between the contractor and the supplier? and my unexpected admission to hospital the contract was subject to some delay. However the above scores are relevant to the product and fitting
I told the company that we had just had new carpets fitted and I was glad to see that they bought plenty of new dust sheets with them.
I was less pleased when they fitted glass with black lead work as all our other windows, some of which they had installed in the past, have silver lead, when I questioned this I was told that they only used black. If that had been pointed out to me earlier I might have gone elsewhere.
Initial consultation confirmed no scaffold required. This was then changed to indicate scaffold was required at a cost to us. If guarantee and warrantee is issued , this needs to include cost for scaffold as any repairs may require this, which must not be at our cost.
The chap who came for fit was met by a few challenges that were left by previous fitter from AGS and sorted them all out plus the Rep that came to see us was extremely helpful
The work was done with great care and great attention to detail
AGS have done a lot of work for us. Their installers are experienced, skilled and pleasant to deal with when installing. Sometimes you have to be a little patient with the office now that they have been taken over by the Brittania group.
Very good job , a little bit pricey
It was difficult to understand who I had to deal with. Sometimes AGS Exeter but more and more the parent company in Clevedon. Installation dates missed. Wrong product manufactured. Britannia claim to have ISO accreditation but their systems don't reflect typical standards required. I would question if they have a QMS!
The product is good. It's a shame about the rest of the company

As detailed in the previous submission of this form - my experience of AGS and Certass has been clunky at best. Efficiency, aftercare and timekeeping all the way through.
Well priced windows which appear well made and well installed. Very satisfied
You will note that for Customer Service and Reliability and Timekeeping AGS Windows have received a very poor score. This is due to the fact that on the original day arranged for installation, they called 30 minutes before the installers were due to arrive to say they couldn't find our windows. It turned out, after trying many avenues to try and get some customer service, that the windows hadn't been manufactured in Britannia Clevedon due to an error in their procurement system. The windows were then not ready for install for a further six weeks, making it 19 weeks it total from the date of the survey. The second install date was met and the installation team Bob & Terry were excellent all round, and hence the high scores given for Tidiness, Workmanship Standards and Product Suitability.
As the windows have been in less than a week I couldn’t recommend to anyone yet. I need to see how they wear over time. The workmen were lovely, they started very early (luckily our neighbours are early risers) They worked hard. It was however, much messier than anticipated and I had covered and moved items from the room. They had lost their dustpan and brush and didn’t have a hoover. The windows look lovely and it is much quieter in the room.
Excellent service . The installer was efficient and very tidy everything left spotless.
Following a missed appointment we had to contact Launa Windows for a revised installation date.
That said, on the day the fitter did a first class job.

We were very happy with the contractor, Tristram Tyrell, who installed the doors. He was very friendly, helpful and efficient and we are very satisfied with the standard of his work. We would thoroughly recommend him.
Initially great service and speed but correcting the several errors/misfittings has taken a huge amount of time (6-9 months at time of writing) with some still to be rectified.
Recommended as yes but I’d give a very strong warning to anyone that I made the recommendation to.

The rear door was fitted well, with no issues whatsoever.
The front door was very poorly fitted, causing cracking to part of the door fabric due to rubbing against the frame.

Poor attention to detail, such as blocking the way a meter cupboard could open through the way the door was fitted.

Neat and tidy workmanship and I'm pleased with the windows themselves. So much so that I intend to have the rest of my house done to match them using the same contractor.
Pre-Contract communications could have been better - we had to do a lot of chasing to get answers to questions.
Installation was booked in with us for 3 days but the installers were diverted to another job on day 3 so they had to return to us to complete the job on day 4 which disrupted our plans.
Notwithstanding the above comments that explain our scores, we are actually delighted with the quality of the product and the installation which is why we would be happy to recommend AGS to anyone.

The subcontractor used for the base extension did not seem to complete the works which were then done by the installers and my builders.
The installation was planned for 4 days but actually took nearly three weeks.
I couldn't give 10 for reliability because the original date had to be cancelled due last minute non availability of staff.
It has taken six months to get this Certass Certificate due to the work not being signed off. Bridgette has been very co-operative in trying to sort this problem out.
Excellently done job
Lack of co-ordination, appointments arranged and then not honoured, installation dates moved. One Incorrectly sized window provided at the initial installation so a replacement was made which was then delivered and to have been incorrectly sized again, so had to be remade for a third time. In the meantime, we were left for many weeks including over the Christmas period with an ill fitting window which was very draughty and cold - little in the way of apology and clearly no intention of any compensation for the disruption nor any recognition of the extra cost incurred in heating the kitchen during this period.
Installation arranged and started on October 20th 2022 and finally completed on Feb 21st 2023.
While the product is good, the customer service is sadly lacking.

One out of three windows was made to the wrong size and orientation. Only realised after the fitter had forcibly removed and damaged the old window so it could not be reinstated. Had to have a new window made and the gap was bodged with the incorrect window in the intervening period. Hence Customer Service and Workmanship being rated low
Customer service could do with someone updating the customer of when they could expect to have windows installed. |I did a lot of chasing to get delivery and installation date.
The workmanship standards were marked down as the finishing standard of the fit was let down by failing to fill/seal under and around some window sills.
Response to complaint dealt with efficiently to our full satisfaction.
Time keeping of the installation team was irregular with late starts and early finishes.
