The wrong colour handle was fitted on the day, but this was rectified in due course.
The frames were a lot wider than we had thought they would be and this wasn’t communicated particularly well in advance.

They had to install the door twice since the first time around the installations was completely wrong. I had to chase the company to come and jave a look. After that the second time around they sent a very experience fitter and he did a great job. Overall the final result is good.
Issues with their customer service but the actual product and fitting was very good.
I have shared all my feedback with Britannia windows Bristol. The project took 2 months to complete and 2 different teams of tradesmen with a gap of 2.5 weeks. The downstairs bay window has a reclaimed wood fitted with visible wood warms holes. We were offered small discount after multiple back and forth. Personally, I don’t feel there is any element of accountability from the HQ team.

Company not recommended, customer services were diabolical and very unprofessional. The original time for installation of 3 days turned into, over FIVE weeks !! The delays they caused, cost my family over £6000.00 in extended care home fees.

Very difficult at times to get “Customer Service” to engage in response to answering queries and pick up a final cheque which we were told would be “no problem” (it took a full calendar month).
The surveyor failed to record that our phone/Wi-Fi cable fed through the old door frame. This meant the fitter arrived with no instructions which complicated matters all round ( we received an apology for this).
Our front door had to be fitted at a later date than agreed as it was not available – someone at the office could not tell us why, but that it might have been “broken” (!!!). (We were much later told the it was “machinery issues” at the factory.)
However, the fitters were fast, efficient and professional and we were happy with the end result.
Sadly our frustrating dealings with “Customer Service” means that we could not in all confidence recommend the company to others.
The initial job was badly installed, the finish was less than awful. this took over 5 months to get resolved, at a large cost to me. Countless cancelled or no show appointments. It is such a shame as the company used to be such a good company, that we recommend them to friends and families. They have really gone down hill now. I will NOT use them again.

My reason for saying no to recommendations is not about the windows and door now fitted. My reasons were the quantity of issues, multiple defective products that needed remaking before they were fit for purpose; but finally, the shocking customer service from the back office. It�s been a truly painful path to resolve this order to its conclusion. An order that should have taken a week to install finalised after 6 months.I�m very happy with the final products installed, the fitter Tim was excellent in finding and agreeing workarounds with myself. The workmanship was horrendous. The gentleman who fitted the windows were young and didnt really comment when i asked questions. One window had to be replaced 4 times before it was suitable due to a scratch on the window. Would not recommend if you do not want hassle!!
When door installed it was noticed that the packing pieces at the bottom of the door had damaged the bottom rubber seal on the door frame this was replaced several weeks later.
There was some confusion about arrival time on the first day. Also traffic congestion to contend with. In all other respects we received efficient, cheerful and courteous service throughout, which included careful consultation about various technical issues tha emerged during the installation. We are delighted with the final result.
Great product but post sales customer service is poor. Can’t communicate unless they want money.
Failed to install the locking mechanism properly. Had to return at a later date and replace/fix the mechanism.
Unfortunately fitting the door was a prolonged procedure as the door originally ordered failed inspection. We were left with a temporary door for two weeks and then completing trim work took another two weeks. End result excellent, but a frustrating process. Fitters were excellent throughout.

We had issues with the quality of the products but they have been rectifying this.
Purchased 6 aluminium windows (manufactured/fabricated ‘in house’) in August 2016. Ref: Certass Building Regulation Compliance Certificate Number 504153. Quality of windows very good, including the actual installations. Hence my choice of contractor for supplying and installing a replacement door.
Overall very pleased.
Many issues which although eventually resolved took far longer than they should have, with many avoidable in the first place.
Very professional service
Work was done late due to not getting the right size lintel. Lack of communication between the contractor and Britannia.
They have done two major jobs for me, both of exceptional standard, with the workmen going “above and beyond” on both occasions.
They inspected the windows and doors before showing them to me. This led to a mark in the door being shown to me rather than me finding the issue at a later date.

The workmen were excellent but communication with our salesman was poor. A lot of items were originally incorrectly ordered at the beginning stage, but it was sorted eventually. We are happy with the job overall, but the stress it caused us we would not recommend to our friends and family.

Installers were excellent, very tidy and helpful throughout they also took on extra paid work at late notice which was completed at the same time of the window installationNote: Installed acoustic glass on windows onto major road – still some road noise which is what we were trying to prevent but no worse than before now sealed in. Few marks deducted for this; but until it was installed we could not know the precise outcome vs older windows which were heavier by design.
The sales process was good, as was the installation. I was very happy with the fitting team. It was just the customer service that let me down.I really struggled to get through to anyone, despite calling numerous times at different points throughout the process.When I did get through to people, I was promised call backs on two occasions without any follow up.
The scaffolders employed were rude and disrespectful of our home: sadly they had to come through our home to access the rear of our property.

Very pleased with Brittania overall. Fitters Tim, Deakin and Vinny were very Professional, respectful of us and our property and did a really good job. One disappointment was a window that was measured incorrectly which resulted in a smallDelay in the completion of the job and required is to have a boarded up window for a few days.
Nothing but good things to say about the Bristol team @ Britannia. Fairly large undertaking, 10 Windows and 5 doors including a knockout for a new sliding door. Sales and support teams were great. Fitting team were awesome – Kudos to Tim, hardly any damage at all to the plaster around the old windows at all.Worth saying there were a couple of issues along the way – sliding door was made the wrong way round and some glass needed to be replaced but Britannia handled it perfectly, no quibble and sorted it out straight away. Perfect service. Highly recommended.
Very happy with the installation. Given the frequency with which I received chasing emails when payments were expected, I do think it would improve your service if you also sent (unprompted) emails acknowledging receipt of those payments.
Nick and Sam were fantastic! They made sure that work was completed to my demanding standards and nothing was too much trouble.
Tim Potter the windows installer was excellent. He was on time and worked efficiently and in my opinion did a very good job. Good windows are important but good installation is vital. Based on Tim’s performance I would definitely recommend Britannia Windows.

It�s the worst experience we have had with the company, never have them again.
Good service and value for money. My only recommendation would be that there is an update between order and installation (due to the pandemic and Brexit there was a 7 to 8 month lead). I was told at the time of the order I would be contacted just before installation. This is not a complaint, but an observation to improve customer service. I would and have recommended Britannia to others.

I’ve said yes purely on the quality of the installation and products (so far). I waited 6 months for installation, if this is an average installation time it would have been great to know from the offset. That said, when I did manage to get hold of someone they seemed to think this was a long wait time. No one contacted me to explain why it was taking so long and when I call to chase they didn’t call me back on numerous occaisions. I want to be charitable because of change of working patterns etc due to Covid but I think returning a call is the very least you can do.

Scott responded very quickly to my initial enquiry, Sarah was very helpful in the office and collecting monies & the guys that came out to fit our door were friendly and did a good job.
Initial problem with the surveyor going to the wrong address and then long delay awaiting fitting due to product/materials availability. Otherwise good service, fitters were timely and tidy.

Not good points are,1. Always a different fitter and far to long await from the replacement DGU’s2. Poor mark for customer service is the phones take too long to answer, no answer from the depot you are calling, and sometimes no answer at all!But…………….the staff are always pleasant and call you back
The gasket was poorly fitted but they are returning to do another installation and I have asked them to remedy it then.

Owing to either Brexit or covid the glass supply to the firm took months to arrive. This was beyond their control as was the case for most firms. However they keptme informed so that was ok. All the people involved in the process have been very pleasant . The workmen arrived on time and cleared up afterwards . They did a very neat and clean job and were pleasant. I am so pleased with my new patio doors.
A few minor issues corrected quickly without any inconvenience to us.
Work was completed efficiently and to a high standard. They arrived on time and were friendly and polite. Communications with Britannia and customer service were also good.

The sales and administration team were very helpful – even when things weren’t quite to plan – and they have accommodated our unplanned hiccups perfectly. The fitters were friendly, helpful and always happy to work to our schedule. Good teamwork.

The first fitted that arrived was awful but after a discussion with the business they sent a new fitter who was excellent.
Windows are very good it was just a shame it took several months to finally come back and sort last bit of trim. This should have been done within a few days of finishing job. I appreciate some the return trips was our issue with access but repeatedly trying to turn up at very short notice became a real headache
A mixed set of ratings due to the different services received, sadly lower than expected due to surveying errors and the resultant time delays. The final product is however very pleasing.

From advising, surveying, to completion of installation the service has been excellent. The quality and finish of the installation was perfect. I was impressed with how the installers have repaired the exterior and interior of where parts of the wall/window recesss were damaged during the installation process. The plastic strips on the window just looked like they are part of the window. Would recommend Britannia Windows Bristol for anyone needing their windows replaced.
All went according to plan. Communication could maybe have been a little better, (Supply issues due to covid19) but overall, very good company to deal with. Special mention to installers, Kalum and Fred, who were extremely polite and professional.
Polite and hardworking
The windows themselves are fine (once they finally fitted the correct items) and the fitters were good, but the customer service from the local office was absolutely shocking! So from a product point of view we would recommend the company, but I’m not sure how we would feel about using the company again just because of the lack of customer service during the after sales period.

There was a significant delay in getting parts for door prior to installation, this resulted in confusing letters from deposit insurance company. (Perhaps this relationship should have been made clearer at the outset.)The key withdrawal from lock is unusual (3 o’clock position), perhaps this could have been explained after installation.
