The installation was good - but they took away the keys for our shed when they removed the back door

We were very satisfied with Britannia from start to finish and would be very happy to recommend them to anyone
There is a lot of silicone (big lumps) on the window sill boards, window frames & on the glass.
Pencil/pen marks on the pvc window sill boards .
Silicone? on 2 quilt covers, one was even turned over to try & hide it.
Loose door handle, wrong replacement sent twice, the new replacement is a different handle, I was assured it is the same quality, I hope so.

The first team were awful and whilst Britannia corrected the product faults their customer service level was appalling and did not make me feel valued as a customer, simply a source of revenue. Britannia showed no real regard for the inconvenience caused by their incompetence or the problems we had to work around whilst awaiting a solution. I will certainly be shopping around for future requirements
Nick and Sam, the window fitters, were very skilled and superb overall.

Very Smooth from sales to fitting with very knowledgeable staff
The quality of the windows and installation by Wayne was good. However, communication with Britannia has been terrible, the work over ran multiple times, costs were not communicated and caused significant delay and distress. Work to our bedroom was conducted to a very poor standard (this was not by Wayne, but by some other contractors), had to be repeated twice, and the finished work involved drilling into the window frame which now cannot be altered. We had to spend a lot of time chasing Britannia and it felt like a huge effort to get this work completed to an acceptable standard. Individual people were pleasant, but communication between different aspects of the business (eg sales, installation, surveyor, fitters) appears to be non-existant and contributed to a poor customer experience.
Coped well with rain delays. Windows supplied as required. Very punctual.

Very good sales experience with Scott. Installers were excellent, very tidy and helpful throughout they also took on extra paid work at late notice which was completed at the same time of the window installation
Note: Installed acoustic glass on windows onto major road - still some road noise which is what we were trying to prevent but no worse than before now sealed in. Few marks deducted for this; but until it was installed we could not know the precise outcome vs older windows which were heavier by design.
Dealt with the installation of the front door with care especially as he had to deal with old plaster coming away from the wall. Very considerate about the way he handled it.

The sales process was good, as was the installation. I was very happy with the fitting team. It was just the customer service that let me down.
I really struggled to get through to anyone, despite calling numerous times at different points throughout the process.

The scaffolders employed were rude and disrespectful of our home: sadly they had to come through our home to access the rear of our property.

There was some cracking of the tiles surrounding the window.
I would just like to say the reason I have only given a mark of 7 for workmanship because I find that question unfair because I have no idea if the workmanship was good or bad as I do not have any knowledge of window instalation or any building matters of any sort. This is why I have to trust the professionals to carry out such jobs. Therefore only time will tell.
For question of 'Product Suitability' I only gave a mark of 7 as I expected the transom windows to be within my reach without the need to stand on a chair to open windows. This was discussed with the surveyor when he made his assessment.

Nothing but good things to say about the Bristol team @ Britannia. Fairly large undertaking, 10 Windows and 5 doors including a knockout for a new sliding door. Sales and support teams were great. Fitting team were awesome - Kudos to Tim, hardly any damage at all to the plaster around the old windows at all.
Worth saying there were a couple of issues along the way - sliding door was made the wrong way round and some glass needed to be replaced but Britannia handled it perfectly, no quibble and sorted it out straight away. Perfect service. Highly recommended.
Very experienced and knowledgeable contractor who was always happy to discuss the details of products or the installation options. Would very much recommend.
Tim Potter the windows installer was excellent. He was on time and worked efficiently and in my opinion did a very good job. Good windows are important but good installation is vital. Based on Tim's performance I would definitely recommend Britannia Windows.

Given the frequency with which I received chasing emails when payments were expected, I do think it would improve your service if you also sent (unprompted) emails acknowledging receipt of those payments.

The rendering work around the windows was superb. Really impressed with how they matched to the existing render. Would definitely recommend them.
Communications, workmanship and value all first class.
A mixed set of ratings due to the different services received, sadly lower than expected due to surveying errors and the resultant time delays. The final product is however very pleasing.
Polite and hardworking
The first fitted that arrived was awful but after a discussion with the business they sent a new fitter who was excellent.
Tim the fitter was outstanding - best work I've ever had done for me.
