Fitting of the windows is to a high standard. Product suitability rating reflects the lack of sound insulation provided by the windows, especially those fitted with acoustic glass. This is the subject of an ongoing complaint with the contractor (New Windows).
Dave - the installer - was excellent in every respect, from friendliness and punctuality to the quality of the finished door. He was thorough, efficient and tidy - even returned to add sealant to a surface that couldn’t be touched on his first visit.

I would rate Dave the fitter 10/10. He went above and beyond. I like that he wants to do the job right and did the job right. The others that have been here, in my opinion, didn’t ought to be doing the job
Getting reply’s to questions/emails was hard sometimes.
I’m sure they have many very happy customers and deservingly so. My experience wasn’t smooth sailing but that was mainly due to manufacturing not fitting. Nobody tried to fob me off and they got there in the end so I can’t fault them for that.

The incorrect spec windows were fitted and the company so far refuses to refit the correct ones
and we are in the process of going through the appropriate complaints procedure.
We have no criticism whatsoever of the quality of work of the fitters employed.
The property is rented so I have not seen the work which has been carried out and cannot complete this survey with factual information. To the best of my knowledge, no issues have been raised by the tenant either at the time of fitting or afterwards.
We are really happy with our new door and the installation you provided. Rachel and Wayne were very helpful to us providing us with all the information we needed in choosing the design of the door.
It looks absolutely lovely now it's been installed and looks wonderful in red. The fitter called Dave also did a great job installing it and finished off the seals well.
We would highly recommend New Windows to our family and friends and will use them again in the future.

Very good in general. We were unlucky to have the wrong central panel initially fitted to one door which took several weeks to rectify but all's well that end well.
Failed to measure correctly and numerous delays in installation. Quality of finished product very good and installers were excellent.
This was the second installation by this contractor for our family, Product and standard of work were very good but there was confusion and delay in both cases over setting installation dates. Suggest New Windows look at their appointments procedures. Otherwise very good.
Everyone working for the contractor that either visited my home or spoke to me on the phone was polite, friendly and business-like. I could not recommend the two fitters Mark and Andy, highly enough: they were outstanding. Highly experienced, efficient, hard-working , polite and tidy.

The product is very good, and the fitters were 100% excellent.
There was a problem over one set of windows that delayed the completion of the job by 9 months from the date of notification that all products were ready to fit. During this period communication from New Windows/Britannia Windows about progress in manufacture and possible fitting dates was very poor and generally only received after prompting.
Yes I would recommend the product and its fitting, with the caveat that if something proved to be inaccurate or incorrect then the customer care system would be (from my experience) poor/sketchy.
The wrong colour doors were installed and needed to be changed. This took a very long time resolve and the contractor was very unhelpful. Contractor were trying to place the problem with their supplier of the slabs. Very bad stressful experience.
All workmanship was to a good standard but the customer service was not good as had to keep chasing and the admin staff would not return phone calls/emails.
Nice product and contractor was helpful when you can speak to them. Can't get through on the phone, you always have to wait for them to call you back. On both fittings, some parts were missing on the day of fitting, 1st job they weren't critical, 2nd job were more important - these had to be chased up. Mastic/sealant used on 2nd job discoloured within a week, contractor sending out a fitter to rectify.
The staff were easy to get hold of in the office.

Amazing service and products
I considered not recommending this installer. When first installed the window was not upright. The installers departed with it in that state. I recalled them and they had another go. This was no improvement. I declined the final payment. An inspector was despatched and agreed that it was not right. They returned again and finally it is correct. The product is fine. The workmanship was eventually good. The whole project fell down because they were prepared to accept poor standards of delivery and would have left it in an unsatisfactory state had I not forced the issue.

The original surveyor measured the windows wrong which led to a long delay and the customer service from the manager was not great. In terms of workmanship and the team who fitted the windows I would definitely recommend but the customer service has not been very good
Fitting was fine but communication with New Windows office very poor, error with order, wrong glass in door, had to chase to get sorted. Render on window ledge fell out next day, was re-done when door glass was replaced but has fallen out again! We will sort it ourselves.
The installation work was very poor.

The only reason it’s not tens across the board is because the kitchen window was measured wrong and we had to wait a month for the window to remade.
It was also very difficult to contact the company either by phone or email, however on a positive note, Rachel in the Winchester office was most helpful and did her very best to keep things moving. A big thank you to her.

In view of the long delay in installing this item, I feel that the communictions regarding the progress, could have been better.
The whole process from beginning to end was efficient and the guys that installed the unit were professional, capable, tidy and polite.

I had an issue regarding the location of the kite mark on 1 out of 4 vertical panels which had patterned obscured glazing. All 4 have the kite mark in the bottom left corner but one has the obscure glazing pattern upside down. To rotate the panel so as to address the issue would leave the kite mark in the top right corner which would look even more out of symmetry. After raising the issue 6 months passed before I was contacted regarding the matter. I have been informed that the kite marks are randomly applied by the glazing manufacturer and therefore my complaint could not be corrected. This company have provided 90% of my double glazing requirements without issue. I feel bitterly let down in this instance as the possibility of non symmetry should have been explained.
Provided a very efficient and timely service at a competitive price
First class product, fitted by a first class installation team. Mark and Andy arrived very promptly and got on with the job at once. Very courteous, left no mess, and did no damage.
Would have absolutely no hesitating in highly recommending New Windows.
