This was an excellent job done by G V Harrison., despite the disappointment in having to wait
some weeks for the order to arrive , I was very happy with the outcome and very pleasant and helpful manner of the engineers who installed the window. I would certainly recommend this company for it's professional approach and consideration of the customer.

All work was undertaken in a highly professional manner- right from the initial visit to provide a quote, through to the installation itself. We were updated regularly throughout the process and the workmen were very tidy, professional and reliable.

GV Harrison are a lovely local family run firm and I felt they all had my best interests at heart. Giles was very professional and I was confident that the windows he recommended for me were the right ones. Claire and Katelin were absolutely excellent at keeping me updated all through the process and were always kind, friendly and helpful. Nick and Jack did a wonderful installation job, they were neat, tidy and efficient. I felt relaxed and happy with two brothers in my house working quietly together. Together they all make a fantastic team.

Giles and the office staff were excellent to deal with and the team who did the work were friendly and helpful. The workmanship was excellent and we are pleased with the windows. Our only reservations are (1) the stair carpet was only partially covered so dirt from the work was falling on it, and no protection was put over the wooden floor in the hall until we asked for this (2) there was some damage done to the walls up the stairs although we accept that it was a challenge fitting in the tower that was needed to access the window above the stairs.

Good communication throughout the whole process, skilfully fitted Velux windows by the tradesmen despite setbacks and delays including weather. Very pleased with the results. Definitely recommend using the company

One of the original Velux windows had been incorrectly fitted when installed some 30 or so years ago and this had caused damage to some structural timber around the window opening. This required unexpected additional work, which was very professionally remedied by Gile’s team. Overall I am very pleased with the service provided from the initial consultation with Giles to the finished product. The new Velux windows are a vast improvement over the original windows and I would highly recommend GV Harrison Building Contractors.

The response to my situation and request was very prompt and the work done sooner than I had expected which I was grateful for as the windows were leaking. The workers had to deal with v cold weather and one of them came in over the weekend to finish the job and clear up.
