David and Bryn did an excellent job, and were respectful of property. They put down protective sheets to save carpets and cleaned uo after wards. They were both personable and very pleasant. I would highly recommend them.

The installer was very professional and appeared to know what he was doing. He arrived on time and completed the works in 2 1/2 hours. He communicated throughout from date of informing me of installation. Everything was left tidy. The velux window appears to be in working order but only time will tell if there are any niggles. The velux window has only been opened once since installation. Very pleased with the installer hence ratings above.
However, it took a number of phone calls to velux chasing order and date of installation (I would score 6 here for reliability and timekeeping). I had waited the time indicated before contacting velux. I was told by velux they are very busy. Apart from that I have received very courteous attention.

The standard of the installation was absolutely first class. The fitters were polite and took a lot of care to cover any floor areas in the house.

The operatives gave us an ETA and arrived as scheduled. They took care to protect the property and explained what they were going to replace. They confirmed the existing surrounding and supporting timbers were sound. After fitting, they checked and ran through how to operate the new Velux. The old window, packaging and debris were all cleared away. Thorough job.

Installation was of a high standard and contractor was everything you would hope for when engaging a team to complete the work undertaken. I would highly recommend and rate them as "Excellent"

Rosss Roberts were exceptional in replacing two loft Velus windows . They came at the times agreed: on the first occasion they took out the old windows and disposed of them then inserted the two new ones involving some cutting of existing tiles. All done in a couple of hours with seven people working quietly and efficiently..

As the blinds we ordered from Velux had not arrived with the installer we agreed two of them would come back when received. They did so and were completed to our satisfaction within two hours and all mess (slight) removed.

I got a quote on 21/11/23 from Velux to replace the existing velux window but then went backwards and forwards several times trying to agree the type of installation as the replacement window wouldn’t fit through the loft hatch. Eventually the installer came out to have a look. Two windows were suggested to avoid paying for scaffolding which we were happy with until the quote increased dramatically and would cost more than having one window and scaffolding so reverted to one window. The cost of installing one window was quoted as £500 but had to pay an extra £250 + vat for extra help with the job. A date was finally agreed for fitting on 24/2/24 but the scaffolding hadn’t arrived so had to reschedule and was finally fitted on 6/3/24. Unfortunately not a great experience.

The installer (Scott Bambridge) was excellent!!
The same cannot be said about Velux Customer Service. Although they were all lovely, helpful people, I can't help but feel they're hugely understaffed. I rarely managed to contact the same person twice. I often received emails chasing me up, when it was I waiting on them to answer my email. Business practices at Velux Customer Services needs a full review and appropriate resources deployed or potential customers will go elsewhere.

The whole process of replacing two Velux windows was handled by the Velux team from the identification of suitable replacements through the selection of fitters and ordering of products to follow-up checks. We were very happy with the entire operation.

Dealing with the Contractor was straightforward and easy. They did an excellent job.

Fantastic service from the first phone call to contact VELUX in respect to replacing my windows. Service, advice, quality of workmanship and products are superb. The only thing better is the customer care, back-up and communication from every single member of the VELUX team. Probably the best whole event process I have experienced. The contractor who installed the windows was good. The admin/ internal communication for Velux as a company left a lot to be desired in terms of each individual understanding where I was up to in the system. The end product is good the process of getting there was at times frustrating
