tookto long to send guarantee
The workmanship was good . The administration of Weatherguard is poor – it has taken 6 months to try and get this certification concluded . Goodness knows how many phone calls we have had to make regarding this issue .
Work carried out and completed on time…very tidy and great finish to windows and doors
Generally contractor ok, most reasonable price I could find, fitting good, house much warmer with windows. Took some chasing to get certifcates and guarantee – three calls. I still receive marketing to get my Windows done even though completed! Had about six calls and requested to be removed from marketing each time.
Brilliant product, installation was excellent and what struck me was the care taken not to damage the existing decorations.
The way payments are handled (very forced and on the spot, instead of like a normal company), the installations are delayed and the complete lack of aftercare or a certificate until you ask for it a year later, all leave a sour taste.
There are two issues with the door. 1. The distance between the bottom of the door and the floor is too close which prevents the door mat returning to its original location next to to the door. It is now located away from the door which now forms a distance of 45cm away from the door. There is a gap between door and mat which means stepping on the floor before stepping on the mat.2. A trim fitting at the step is catching on the bottom of the door making it difficult to close the door. Both issues were reported to Weatherguard on 17 Feb 2023, the day after the door was fitted. Five weeks l
They had extremely poor communication with us, and extremely bad time keeping. We had to constantly chase them, and still the project – instead of one month, as they said it would take – took nearly six months to complete.
Need to get the Certass certificate sorted out sooner rather than wait for 3 months

Fantastic customer service and product Thank you
The contractor was very unprofessional and the work was not completed to building regulations. Tried rossolving the issue but now left with shoddy windows and doors and 4685 worst off
Massive issues with delays and overall lack of communication. I had to call multiple times to track my own order. 6 months later and the installation is finally sorted. On that side of things, I can’t complain. The installation was smooth and looked amazing.
The work was done to our satisfaction generally, but we had to keep chasing up Weatherguard to get them to start the work which overshot from the original timescale given by them of 8 to 10 weeks. The installers themselves were pleasant enough and co-operative.
Poor customer service both prior and after sales. I was also informed the men doing the work that I had been massively overcharged.
The windows are fine, the front window fitter we were very pleased, the back windows we had to have fitters back as a fitting was appalling. The after service we received from the office was very poor. Now everything is fine but will not recommend to anyone. I am still waiting for a cheque from them for recommending my next door neighbour, I was promised 50 where is it.
Weatherguard are now on their 4th refit of our glass due to leading issues. They have been a complete nightmare, we are still waiting for our windows replacing again, now 8 months almost from paying our deposit for a job they assured would be complete in 6 weeks. Totally disappointed, too many excuses and pushing blame to subcontractors when our contract was signed to Weatherguard and 5500 paid to Weatherguard, no one else. Taking to trading standards and consumer rights.
Polite, attentitive. Made some mistakes in either the measuring or manufacturing but put right. Some ‘hassle’ over the etchings in the windows being too visble. Some glass have them, some haven’t …. never really got to the bottom of this. It is a ‘visual’ thing that should be considered/discussed with the purcgaser as part of the ‘signing up’ process.
