The only reason I’ve marked down customer service was I had to invest a lot of my time time chasing up the office. It felt like things were very dis-organised from an admin point of view, and I had to chase and repeatedly email every step of the way from quote through to ordering, scheduling and beyond. The guys on site were fantastic, great worksmanship, really tidy and polite and couldn’t fault them.

Friendly chaps, worked hard and got on with the job – took them longer than they anticipated. Two things could have been better: making good by plastering (I had been told this would be done, they hadn’t – and it’s not the best finish so will need going over), and the angle-grinder left damage on the shower screen and toilet cistern. Thankfully for them, these are both being replaced anyway.

Communication and organisation of all required trades on a ‘challenging’ job was great. Installation was very efficient despite challenges with the site and installers very tidy and friendly

I’d have no hesitation in recommending the contractor but I certainly would not recommend this CERTASS web page! My wife and I have tried to get the certificate up (second line down) but access has been repeatedly refused. Now I understand I must “Submit” an empty form to release the Certificate. How user unfriendly can you get?????

Would absolutely recommend Hanney Glazed. There was a delay at the manufacturers, this was beyond Hanney Glazed’s control, but Jamie (owner) was apologetic, even though it was not his fault. The single “9” amongst all the “10”s is because after accepting the quotation we waited to be asked for a deposit by a telephone message or e-mail but the requirement to send one was in fact in a small paragraph at the bottom of the quotation. This we only discovered when checking progress a couple of months after receiving the quotation, but from then on everything was carried out perfectly in all respects. Speed and quality of the installation and the door operational and maintenance talk-through were all excellent, and tidiness of the work area during and after the job were exemplary.

We were kept informed on the installation date and the install was completed on time and very professionally. The team are polite and friendly work well together and leave the area clean and tidy. Hanney Glazed’s Jamie did a constructive site survey and made a couple of constructive suggestions to our request. Within the stated timescale, his engineers came and installed the product in an efficient and workmanlike manner. The final door/side-panel look good.There was a problem with our order in that one fanlight, which was a late addition to our order, was not passed to the factory. We were offered the chance to delay completion but chose to finish off partly due to the cold weather.Hanney Glazed’s staff are very good communicators in person; they could maybe improve their email contact as we had to prod for a receipt for our deposit. They broke one tile removing the old door; this was made good but the cable going through it is slightly off the wall. All minor stuff.
