We had Attila and his son Daniel fit a new front door for us in February. They were both very polite and attentive. Made sure area was completely clean before leaving, went through in detail how the key/lock worked and talked through everything that was done. 
I would highly recommend this company to anyone who is looking for a new door/ windows. Fantastic service also from the booking side of it, very thorough throughout and a straight forward process start to finish.

The contractor Bedfordshire Windows Ltd was let down by their Composite Door supplier in terms of paint quality and subsequent rectification work. This led to an unacceptable delay in the completion of my door installation. I would however add that Bedfordshire Windows Ltd were excellent with their handling of the above issues.

As already shared with the contractor, I was very pleased with the service end-to-end, with one exception. I was very disappointed to find that the frame around the doors is incomplete because the skirting board interrupts it. If it had been pointed out to me that I would have a dark brown frame with a 4cm white skirting board on either side, I would have taken steps to avoid this.

We have used this contractor before and have found that their work is very efficient and carried out in professional manner. The properties are always left clean and tidy and would recommend them.

Unfortunately we had so many recurring issues that it is hard to recommend Bedfordshire Windows. However, if they are able to sort out several process issues around ordering, comms etc then perhaps this would change things. But leaving our site unprotected for 24 hours is a huge issue that I cannot forgive.

Extremely pleased with the recent installation work carried out at my property. The team allocated to my job (Mike & Florian) worked very well, were polite, tidy and arrived each day on time. If there was going to be a delay for whatever reason, I was kept fully informed. Neighbours have commented on how nice my house now looks.

We had a few issues around getting the work finished and signed off, mainly due to scheduling issues for Bedfordshire Windows and their sub-contractors. Second contractors who arrived were very messy and left render stuck to lots of areas on the house that weren’t supposed to have render on them.Everyone was pleasant, the sales team are professional, honest and not pushy. The installation side are OK.

They were pleasant, carried out the work efficiently and tiredly. Left the site after cleaning up any mess made,(non).

We chose the contractor based on recommendation and looking at their work.Unfortunately our experience was not satisfactory that we would feel uncomfortable to recommend them.We had 2 projects:1. Facias and guttering. There was a fault. It was installed in June 2023 and was not rectified until December 2023 – it took 6 months!2. Windows, Doors and Patio.Out of 11 windows, 5 windows were left with unacceptable finish with other corrections that had to be made in the whole job.3. Very good reliable company. Very pleased with the process from beginning to end, everything was arranged and completed without any problems. Extremely pleased with the appearance of the new windows and door.

Overall fine. There was a frustrating issue with the wrong cat flaps being installed and unnecessary comments about the same . We had a couple of issues also with the fitting and glass which were resolved. All in all we have ended up with a good product but had to push quite hard to get the issues sorted.

I would recommend Bedfordshire Windows since they did effectively replace our fifteen windows and one door. However, the process wasn�t without problems, albeit mostly minor in essence, but sometimes of significance to us, the customers. In my view, each adverse effect could have been either avoided or mitigated by improved processes between the customer signing of the order right through to completion of the remedial snagging work. There was neither an evident quality control process in place nor was there any management involvement. During this sixteen week period, no-one from the company

Great service until we had an issue which took about 4 months to resolve, we had parts that needed replacing. We are in the middle of a massive renovation so not a huge problem but communication was lacking. The windows are great and we would recommend Bedfordshire windows for their clear and direct approach to quoting / installation but aftercare needs a little work.

From the time of my initial enquiry – it has been a pleasure to deal with Bedfordshire Windows. We have recommended them since our installation and will continue to do so.

Bedfordshire Windows did our windows a few years ago and were great – great service and workmanship. However, our experience when they came back this year to do our doors was entirely different. We had to chase them for months once we’d paid to give us a date, they lost my contact details, they didn’t show up on the first date agreed, their engineer was rude, they left a total mess and then they damaged the doors when installing them. I would highly recommend Bedfordshire Windows. Every member of staff we had contact with were very professional, helpful and quick to reply to any queries or questions we had. We had 8 new windows replaced. The new windows have been fitted to a very high standard and are of excellent quality and look great. The fitter was so tidy and cleaned up after each window was installed, leaving no mess behind. Excellent company, would definitely use Bedfordshire Windows again.

Efficient, tidy and thoroughly good team

Easy process from start to finish. Appointments were easy to set out and survey asked us all the questions and made clear. Installation happened over two visits since the corner posts were delayed, so they fitted the whole house and came back to fit the bay window. Fitters were the same each visit and were polite, tidy and efficient. I particularly liked the tidiness of the silicone as this is where sometimes can be a let down, but they paid a lot of attention to these finishing details.

The workmen on the day were highly skilled and efficient but also friendly and considerate.

Some individuals at the organisations were great, some individuals not.When things go wrong, no desire to resolve with any speed, it goes to the bottom of the pile.Installation manager instead of just arranging for an obvious issue to be fixed seemed more interested in trying to frame the conversation that somehow it was my fault the door wasn’t closing properly. Final fitter confirmed it was fitted over half an inch out.Then when finally sorted (on their timeframe) sent me an invoice marked 90 days overdue.

Good work and good windows, had to replace glass twice due to scratches inside but done without issues. My only problem is the extra �50 added to the bill after survey (my measurements were overestimates) as this seemed like I couldn’t get out of it having waited a month for the survey, but happy with the quality of work. The reason given was something about “fairness for all customers” but I still find this a bit of a Micky take and don’t understand why I was charged this. Everything else I was very happy with.

Yes I would , quality of fitment is good , we had vertical sliders fitted so the wood work around the window on the inside 8/10 ,because onside was longer that the other ,only notice when a curtain rail had to be fitted. Also no expanding foam was visible on the top of the windows on the inside , again when drilling to fit the curtain rail.

Before installing the new door the whole frame including two stained glass side windows (dating from 1938) had to be removed. The frame was in one piece. They saved the stained glass windows ( my wife intends to reframe them and display) but the main ppraise is that they managed to remove frame without damage to wallpaper, despite the paper butting up to the edges of the frame.First class.

I think the communication has been really poor and this is what makes a company/business. I haven�t seen one person from the company since getting in contact and despite being in contact with them since the beginning of the year there was a massive delay which set our project back

They was very prompt and windows look good we are however a little disappointed that the colour does not match the other windows in the building. But they did try their best to match, I think a small sample of the window would of been better to match but probably could end up being cost effective. There is also the fact about the surveyor not passing on the request for the safety locks when selecting the windows. But everything else is fine.

The installation team arrived promptly every day & just got stuck into the their work including the unscheduled extra morning for completing the fitting of the composite front door with side panels. Very pleased with the service. There was an issue with the windows that were supplied at first, it was resolved very speedily. The installers were quick, professional and as tidy as they could be, plus happy to work around us as we juggled things around rooms to allow access.

The bottom line is we are really happy with our bi-fold door – it looks amazing and does exactly what we wanted it to do. I would recommend the company – the only reason they did not score higher was there was some communication issues between the installer and the builders they sub contracted in. We can’t wait for the summer and to enjoy using the doors with teh kids playing in the garden.

The standard of work is excellent and they went above and beyond by correcting some poor workmanship by the original building contractors. The price was also very competitive. Very responsive initially and I had a visit and a quote quickly. When the workmen came they did good tidy work, were professional yet friendly and came when they said they would. A roof tile was broken in the installation though and that’s yet to be repaired

Issues with marks on door handles took three attempts to correct, but contractor kept working to resolve in timely manner.

There was an issue with a scratch to the front door, which was resolved relatively easily considering the pandemic and time of year.When the replacement door arrived, the pane of glass in the door was the wrong way round. Again fixed with ease.But these issues dragged the whole process out to about 3 months.Also, the gang who replaced the door with the scratch observed no social distancing. Were smoking very close to our property whilst doing the work , so the smell of cigarette smoke came into our house.

I did have to chase up emails a couple of times but other than that, all the work was fabulous. Would definitely recommend and well worth the money.

I am very pleased with my windows, workmen did a great job. All my neighbours are saying how much they like them. I have already told them they were completed by Bedfordshire windows.

But only for standard shape doors as the locking mechanism took a long time to meet our requirements which were not particularly onerous!There was a considerable delay between placing the order and supply, possibly exacerbated by COVID

The contractor, Bedfordshire Windows, like so many businesses in these times, are working under difficult conditions. Due to covid pandemic suppliers are not all operational as they were pre pandemic. Brexit has also caused disruption for businesses. The difficulties encountered were communicated to me clearly & explained. The installation problems were sorted out by the Company through clear communication & fixed without any dispute or further cost to myself. I applaud the Company on this matter.

A slight downgrade on workmanship standards due to an issue with a door and some finishing off around a couple of windows. Door issue was rectified and finishing off with silicone done by ourselves.

I have rated Workmanship standards as a 7, as 1 floor tile was damaged during the process and the plastering was not as good as it could of been.
