The two fitters from Smart were excellent. They were very tidy and extremely helpful. I would definitely use Smart again.

We had been putting off replacement of our D/G timber windows for some time over a matter of years .Our main reasons were
spoiling the character of the house and also damage to interior decorations as the majority of the interior is wallpapered.
However Smart installations overcame these problems as if they were of no trouble to them at all. They used quality materials which enhanced the
look of our house and the installation was excellent on all fronts .Every member of their team played their part from the Estimate ,Office Liaison and of course the installation team who worked confidently showing their expertise making the minimum of mess and cleaning and vacuuming as each area was finished and last thing before they left. The installation team were excellent .

The contractor kept me informed of what jobs would happen when. This was especially helpful in a project that involves a roofer, electrician, plasterer and UPVC window/door installers - a juggling act where nothing fell through.

Additionally the contractor went out out of their way to make the finished conservatory with a warm roof look even better by putting down beading which was unexpected. This meant it covered the gap between my carpet to the conservatory and there is no hurry to put down replacement flooring.

The windows installation was expertly and efficiently undertaken by an impressive and professional team, each member of which was neat and tidy in his work also very respectful of ourselves and our property. It was a pleasure to have them in our home.
The quality of the windows themselves is superb and has made an immediate and positive improvement not only to the appearance of the house but also to the heat and sound insulation qualities. Although only slightly more expensive than conventional double glazing, these triple glazed windows are considerably superior in all respects.
In short, this is a tip-top, A1, first class installation!

The initial install of the windows was good. However, Smart gave little or no notice of when they were going to be doing the work, and often just turned up unannounced. A number of snags from the initial install arose including 2 leaking windows and unsuitable cabin hooks attached to the patio doors which took months to get rectified. Overall a friendly team and we are happy with the product provided, but we're unable to recommend them due to the painful customer service post install.

Very impressed with the installers committment to provide an excellent service and finish to the products installed.

Only criticism we would have is that notice to start works was very short, this could be improved

9 rather than 10 on some only down to a few minor niggles - a door supply delay & reschedule, couple of wrong vents and a little slow with a couple of admin/'paperwork' requests, all sorted. Mostly very prompt to respond.

Fitters were pleasant, punctual, helpful. Observed requests for covid precautions and took care; cleared up impeccably.
Excellent job in terms of installing the windows & without affecting interior decor/making good. Impressed!

Suitability of product - depends in part how it goes over time?

Slightly slow in arranging measurements, but once done windows and door completed quickly with a high standard of workmanship

WRONG DOOR DESIGN AND WINDOW COLOUR SUPPLIED ON FIRST FITTING, THIS WAS ACKNOWLEDGED AND RECTIFIED WITHIN A MONTH. QUALITY OF WORKMANSHIP WAS VERY GOOD, INSTALLERS WERE POLITE, TIDY WITH A GOOD FINISH.

The windows were fitted by Mark & Paul there work quality was excellent and they were very efficient and they did an excellent job, the service from Smart Installations was very good.

I have used Smart installations for a number of years and have always been delighted with the service, the products, and the way my property has been left.

One point off a perfect score as there was a mix up on who was installing one part of the job, but that was cleared up and taken care of in an exemplary manner.

great quality product, great fitters - very thorough, professional & tidy

Installers kept me updated on when the work would be done including time of arrival each morning. They were very polite and responsive to the issues encountered. The glazing for one of the windows was incorrect but they advised that this was being corrected. The replacements were also wrong but they could understand why I was unhappy about this, but corrected it without fuss.

They were very tidy and cleared up to leave the house neat and clean afterwards.

Work completed in good time within 2 long days.

Seals round several frames poor and had to chase many times to get this fixed.
Insisted the contractor used knock-ons rather than wooden batons.
Had to chase for this Certass Certificate many times.
