Generally the installation went well, a few minor problems were dealt with quickly and efficiently. I would happily use Smart Installations again.

everything went well with the company apart from a “hiccup” with the wrong measurements being given for the back door at the point of the survey, this resulted in a temporary door being fitted (it had to be cut down and forced into the door apperture) causing quite a bit of damage being done to the kitchen tiles and also the plaster work around the door we also had to wait over 2 weeks for a new door to be made

All the work was completed and I was extremely happy with the whole process and how the contractor conducted themselves throughout.
There have been 2 issues that have arisen since the installation, which the contractor has been informed, which I hope will be resolved after their Christmas shut down.

We had been putting off replacement of our D/G timber windows for some time over a matter of years .Our main reasons werespoiling the character of the house and also damage to interior decorations as the majority of the interior is wallpapered.However Smart installations overcame these problems as if they were of no trouble to them at all. They used quality materials which enhanced the look of our house and the installation was excellent on all fronts .Every member of their team played their part from the Estimate ,Office Liaison and of course the installation team who worked confidently

9 rather than 10 on some only down to a few minor niggles – a door supply delay & reschedule, couple of wrong vents and a little slow with a couple of admin/’paperwork’ requests, all sorted. Mostly very prompt to respond. Very accommodating, pleasant staff. Fitters were pleasant, punctual, helpful. Observed requests for covid precautions and took care; cleared up impeccably. Excellent job in terms of installing the windows & without affecting interior decor/making good. Impressed!Suitability of product – depends in part how it goes over time?Second phase of work is already scheduled.

Seals round several frames poor and had to chase many times to get this fixed. Insisted the contractor used knock-ons rather than wooden batons.Had to chase for this Certass Certificate many times.Fair price

Contractors left the front door in a complete mess and we had to call them back to sort it out as they did an awful job. Back door also sticks and is really hard to lock- would not recommend or use again

We are very pleased with our new windows and the knowledgeable way they were installed. The two installers were very polite and friendly and kept any mess to a minimum.

Installers kept me updated on when the work would be done including time of arrival each morning. They were very polite and responsive to the issues encountered. The glazing for one of the windows was incorrect but they advised that this was being corrected. The replacements were also wrong but they could understand why I was unhappy about this, but corrected it without fuss.They were very tidy and cleared up to leave the house neat and clean afterwards.
