Once we’d agreed the quote, the process continued smoothly, they were able to fit the installation day to a day to suit us and the installers were courteous and efficient. They responded promptly to my initial enquiry and provided a fair quote for the job unlike other companies who seemed to inflate the costs initially and then offer to price match alternative offers. The contractor would not accept my concern that the bedroom window, which was specifically ordered as a fire escape window, did not open wide enough to comply with current regulations. After coming back to check it he again assured me that it was compliant. I had to then arrange a meeting with the Fire Safety Inspecting Officer, who confirmed to them that it did not open wide enough before they agreed to change the hinges in order for the window to open beyond the minimum required.

We have used SGS for all replacement windows and doors they offer a great reliable service and are very clean and tidy at a good price
