Very pleased with the installation. Quality work. Would recommend.

Wrongly installed beads around both top windows. Clearly not fitted correctly as not flush and sticking proud of window frame, plus additional gaps in corners where bashed in hard with tools and therefore damaged. Contractor said that it was a manufacturing issue/defect.

Needed 3 additional visits to rectify, 2 of these from the manufacturer themselves.

New beads were cut to replace the damaged beads. Manufacturer was excellent in sorting out this problem. However, 2 separate installers from manufacturer stated that it was categorically not a manufacturing issue, simply that the beads had been installed in the wrong order and therefore damaged after multiple attempts to try to get them to fit.

Trickle vent on smaller window didn’t align with ceiling. This meant trickle vent would actually be above the ceiling height and buried. Contractor tried to cut new trickle vent hole in top of window frame to lower height of trickle vent. Poorly fitted trickle vent on to “new” hole leaving gaps around it where draft can get through even when vent is closed. Looks messy. Inside the “new” trickle vent is a complete mess of broken and damaged white plastic window frame.

Trickle vent on larger window had similiar issue, but contractor managed to just about get away with it. This means trickle vent is 100% flush with ceiling, meaning it does not shut fully due to part of vent cover that you grip onto which sticks out above the profile of the vent itself.

Large pane of glass in top opener was apparently scratched in two places once it was installed. Contractor highlighted this issue and came back to replace with new pane of glass.
