The installation was started and completed to my satisfaction, good quality product and excellent fitter’s.

Windows installed ok and workforce friendly. Problem with firm in terms of poor communication and not returning phone calls as promised.

This is the second time I have used Polar Windows for window/roof installation and have found the service to be excellent. I would definitely recommend them.

Nice windows awful fitting

After 18 months of being told they would come and fix door and never showing up I finally get this certificate. Bad service from start one of the doors is still not up to standard and was told by fitter not to lock it. I would like to know the process of getting it checked by yourselves and your help to get this put right.

The fitters were punctual, polite & professional, they were friendly & helpful and did an excellent job. They respected our property and left everything clean & tidy. It was a very positive experience from the salesman's first visit to the completion o the job. Bad internal finishing. They cut out the pvc trim rather than remove blind brackets.

Still waiting for correction of window beading problems after three months

Problems from the quotation to final installation. Spec agreed and deposit paid at the end of May 2023, installation completed 2nd week in October 2023. Sales person doesn't know what he is selling. During long waiting time for installation, spec has been changed two times, without consultation anything with me. If I wouldn't notice discrepancies, installation would be done and I would have to pay full price for something different, that I ordered.

Installers did great job and obviously take pride in their work

All the work carried out was to a very good standard.
The work men was very good and they were very helpful and very friendly and no rubbish left behind

They needed to measure the door 4 times before it could be manufactured. Within 3 months seal was coming away from one of the doors. Engineer replaced it and said someone would contact me as wrong size seal had been fitted. I am still awaiting a call over 2 months later

Failure to install completely out of alignment a basic failure of workmanship . Arranged for refit and times onto met . Still waiting hopeless service.

Objectively speaking the installation of two external doors has not gone well. Rear UPVC has been fine, however the composite on the front has been more problematic. I have been given different reasons for this by different members of staff, and the general view I have is one of a fragmented company which cares little for its customers. A review of how the company communicates with customers would be hugely beneficial. Every time I have been told I will receive a phone call I have had to chase it up for example. On each of the three occasions staff have visited the property to investigate/repair issues with the front door I have not received a courtesy follow-up call asking whether the problems have been solved. Simple steps make a big difference.

After sales service very poor, quick to install, poor to repair faults

Sadly after 2 ,satisfactory installations from Polar this job caused us a lot of anxiety. The first set of windows were shoddily installed and the sash’s were a different shade to the frames. Polar admitted to the problems and had the windows remade and refitted. This process took months which supply chain issues aggravated and we were made aware of. The final installation we consider acceptable but not to the standards of previous Polar work carried out.
Additionally I had to chase after 5 months for the Certass paperwork which had been overlooked.
Unfortunately this inconsistency means we could no longer recommend Polar.

Product itself was excellent but fitting was rushed and important components were missed, but these were fixed later.

The door was installed incorrectly and has had to be re fitted due to not functioning. The communication from the company was bad and I had to take legal advice.
