The sub contractor was unreliable and failed to show up on the agreed dates and times on several occasions. This resulted in a long delay for completion.

The workmanship itself was brilliant, and the guys fitting were amazing throughout. The communication with the main office wasn’t great, having to try and arrange initial meetings a couple of times, being told the wrong installation date and then being asked to sign off work that wasn’t yet complete. Mixed bag but happy overall

Very impressed at the speed & efficiency of the installation. A couple of minor issues to resolve but otherwise faultless.

Apart from some minor damage to decor of interior window sills which to an extent is expected and which we have been able to easily make good, we can’t fault the company or the installation as a whole, and would not hesitate to recommend their services to others. The windows themselves are of high quality.

Information about the discounts available and the suitability of the product were clearly explained, highlighted by the unnecessary replacement of all the existing units.
Wait for installation was not along period of time and information about times and date of Installation were clearly explained.
Punctuality and application to the work was excellent as was the level of workmanship. All questions and queries were explained in a friendly and clear fashion.
On completion there was a slight misunderstanding regarding the original order which was cleared up satisfactorily.

Excellent service

Initial team sent to install inappropriate and fitting of a poor standard. Company sent replacement workman who was excellent and completed the job well. Customer service from managers poor as no follow up regarding initial complaint about inappropriate behaviour from first team.

ESS were prompt to respond to questions or issues as they arose. Very god customer service. Some slight issues during the installation including some poorly fitting beading and incorrect window delivery. ESS went to great effort to put these things right and ensured we were happy before invoice. Generally the workmanship was good but a couple of instances where the floor was damaged and some silicone residue was left on the floor and furniture so perhaps a little more care of the surroundings needed from the window fitters themselves. Similarly one instance where debris from the old window was not thoroughly cleaned up which meant some shards of glass were found in the area over the following day – this only happened with one window and I am sure was a simple case of forgetting to check that one in the clean up process. Not a large issue but reason for reduced score on tidiness.

the bill was compromised twice by the office, they billed me for £300 above what the salesman had quoted me, I had to get hold of the office twice to get it sorted, if I did not bother to check these things I would be £300 out of pocket, the salesman and the fitter were very good.

this is the second sheet of guarantee which must speak vollumes about the office, I only had one window replaced and now have two different warranty sheets, with different numbers.

The windows were fitted twice as the first installation messed everything up. The second one did a good job, but I’m still getting a draught through the front window.

The workmen were very polite. I am not 100% happy with the fit of the door- viewed from inside it is slightly lopsided and this causes the cover on the bottom hinge to keep coming off. Overall I am happy with the door and surround.

There were a few bumps along the way but always these were competently handled and dealt with by the company owners themselves which was very reassuring to see. Once the work was finished it was to a very high standard and inspected by again one of the company co-owners and they have made it apparent that they are readily available in after-care service to be called on should any problems arise with the product. The finished quality is to a very high standard and I am more than pleased with the result and more than happy to recommend Energy Savings Solutions Southwest Ltd.
